I apologize for this long comment. How do I explain Bigbang, they are known as Kings of Kpop because: (1) of a lot of trends in kpop were started by them for example lightsticks was conceptualized by Gdragon the leader of the group (the first one who sang in the video) (2) they were the first idols who wrote, composed their song specifically G-dragon but later each members have contributed to it. A lot of their songs are iconic that even their 12 year old songs are still being streamed in SK. Before that, idols were simply given songs to sing by the companies. They have a lot of creative control that most idols can only dream of and because of this they basically release the material they want and when they want it. (3) Before they enlisted the military, each members have their own solo careers, released albums, had solo tours and an acting career while remaining in the group. (5) Lastly, you should check out their live performances. They always perform with a live band in their concerts and they always know how to hype the crowd, anything goes with them. Mvs don't really do justice with how good they are as performers that's the reason that their fandom prefer to stream their live performances over mvs. Just don't expect synchronized choreography, lipsynch or performances were the backtracking is louder than their voices ( no shade to the new generation idols)
You were right though about how distinct they are with their voices, looks and even fashion. I also want to add that the version of Kpop that you know now is highly sanitized and idol's image are tightly controlled. If you check out idols from the 1st and 2nd generation they were never dull and uninteresting like most idols nowadays. They were able to show their personality while idols nowadays have to maintain this squeaky, clean image. That's why a lot of old kpop stans will tell you Kpop scene nowadays is pretty boring. Old idols were more experimental and were very distinct from each other while now it seems groups have the same look and sound.

@@ektaworld2.0widereactions26 thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Those recommendations don't even encapsulate their discography from solos, subunits to group. There's a lot of material to recommend and I only discovered them this year so I don't know if those recommendations could even capture what BB is about esp since they debuted in 2006. But if there is one word that describes them is reinvention. If you check out their song Haru Haru that was released in 2008 and compare it to the version in Japan Dome Tour and Seoul Made Tour. That 12 year old song sounds different and fresh everytime. I hope you check them out.
For mvs here are my recommendations: Zutter (it's very cheeky video), Sober (lyrics and the song is meaningful), Loser (another meaningful song), Bang bang bang (maybe not for everyone"s taste but its a song that needs to be sang live) and Fantastic Baby (old song but catchy)

I know Kpop and Kdramas for years. Qpop is something that just started 5 years ago. I did my research😜 So Qpop is Kazakhstani Hip-Hop, EDM, R&B and Toi-pop, with heavy influences from K-pop of South Korea.[3][4][5] The genre first surfaced in 2015 when the first Q-pop group, Ninety One debuted.[6] Since then the genre experienced a growing popularity among Kazakhstani youths, with more Q-pop artists formed and debuted.
Kpop influence can be seen and they adapted it so well 😍😍 enjoying ninety one journey though 😍😍

Ooohh, Bigbang💛💛💛💛💛 One and only legends💜💜💜💜💜 This MV is one the weirdest ones of them)) But they have plenty of excellent songs. P.S. First time 91 used to copy some ideas from Bigbang's MVs, as well as their fashion and hairstyles 😅😅😅 (probably they were k-pop fans, that's why used many ideas from k-pop, especially BB, cuz they were super popular those times when 91 debuted) That's why I didn't like them as a VIP, but actually their voices are good enough as well as some songs)
