  • .The case of financial fraudster and fake German heiress Anna Delvey took the world by storm and even inspired a hit Netflix series. People were captivated by her scheme to secure a 22 million dollar loan to start an art foundation by pretending to have a German trust fund worth over 40 million dollars. If you’ve never heard of that case, the craziest part was that she jumped through so many hoops, flying by the seat of her pants, AND it was all for nothing because she never even got the money for the foundation. Before the loan was approved, Anna’s lies, forgery, and financial misgivings caught up to her, and she was arrested for fraud and exposed to the entire world. Now there’s a new scammer in town, and some people say she blows Anna out of the water.

FAFSA is notorious for giving loophole questions that are designed to make students fall into traps and forfeit aid. You can answer one question that’s worded poorly and lose eligibility for certain aid amounts. They also unfortunately force you to provide parent info until you’re like 24 I believe regardless if you live with them or not and depending on certain ppls circumstances that’s a real kick in the behind. I know when I had to file mine me and my parents would end up arguing EVERY TIME😭😭😭😭

There so much wrong in this comment and it’s responses.
First of all, financial crimes are usually punished WAYYY softer than violent crimes. It’s not even close. But when the financial crime is at a staggering level, that’s when you see harsher punishments, especially if the people defrauded are wealthy individuals or corporations. Elizabeth Holmes got a ton and it was for defrauding wealthy individuals, Bernie madoff got the book thrown at him, Alan Stanford and Bernie eberhardt got a ton, and yet Jordan Belfort, who defrauded average people, got like 4 or 5 years. There’s the real issue.
Second of all, all you trolls saying the system punishes women harder than men are either lying your ass off, delusional, or just trolling. Every single report, study, and data in the us shows that women receive noticeably lighter sentences than men for the same crime, all things being equal. It’s one of the few areas where women actually have it better. The system is indeed a patriarchical system, and women do have many things worse, but the justice system is absolutely not one of them.

@@korisean-andrewmybabiesilo3807, you don't have to buy a small company to gain access to their list of users. There's a marketplaces for companies to buy/exchange customer lists. The company that "buys" the list doesn't actually see any of the information (i.e. they don't see your name, email address, physical address, etc.) as it's all facilitated by a third party for privacy reasons. The point is, big companies don't need to spend millions just to gain access to customer lists. Also, most often than not, you do give permissions to the company when you sign up to their lists. The hardest part was getting my parents tax returns to understand their income. But once you have the information, it’s just a form. Also, heres a story nobody asked for... my dad has always been a stickler about having "good shoes" on his kids feet because you never know when he was going to take us on a hike, etc. He would often express his distain for crocs and even hid my teenage brother's pair.
Fast forward to our recent beach camping trip... all of the adult children and their families brought Crocs on purpose to troll him. He didnt say anything to us on the trip but you could tell he was annoyed. Well, we packed a fresh pair for him and presented them to him mid trip. Complete with a jibbit that said "VIP". I didn't realize Crocs looked like that! I'll have to check them out. They look super comfy. I have one of my ACDC shirts on today, I'm a HUGE fan of her rock tees🤘🩷

Keeo your eye on the Gilgo Beach serial killer. After 13 years an arrest today. I live & worked very close to the area. Nothing to do with this. Just wanted to mention it.

Love love love these stories too - More cons and cults!
You have a great way of presenting the important details of the stories - not too much fluff, wasted words, and I always agree with your opinions. Very organized, easy to follow, and succinct story-telling!
    Keep it up!

Hey Annie! Just wanna say thank you so much for the PDS debt ad! I looked into it a few months ago and it helped me get my debt under control! I'm way more financially secure and they have already settled one of my accounts
