The thing about him is he was consistent. It seemed like he ran the ball for 200 yards every game. Even the Auburn game which was by far his worst game he scored 2 touchdowns.
As a penn state fan, it wasn't until Saquon Barkley until I was able to be as excited about a running back as I was La'Michael James. I wish his NFL career had really taken off, but he was outstanding in College.
Chip Kelly was killing it at Oregon! Fastest offense not only in the PAC-12 but all of CFB! And the offense got electrified once Marcus Mariota and DAT came along!
Yeah but unfortunately chip moved to the nfl because Oregon caught some shit for the way they recruited James. I think if he had stayed they would have gotten in more trouble. But imagine 2014 with chip at head coach…
I was in middle school and watched him make ESPN top 10 plays as a highschool player , said wherever he goes to college I’ll be a fan, been a duck fan ever since #QuackAttack
Unfortunately the teams he went to weren't set up to use his talents, they were set up for bigger backs and no speed, had Tennessee picked him up with Mariota things might have been different.
He got short changed in the NFL. He deserved to have a much better NFL career than what he had. Really think this guy could have had more success in the NFL had he been drafted by a better run heavy team. Great college career but never achieved his full potential in the NFL.
The man that made me fall in love with the game of football
Real
La Michael James was the BEST/ MOST EXPLOSIVE RB to come out of Oregon... Facts!!
Yep! Sorry to D'anthony Thomas or Jonathan Stewart, LeGarrette Blout whoever else
LaHeisman
I’m a Florida Fan and La Micheal James was so exciting to see him play! He was a great running back to see out of Oregon. Amen 🙏
thomas was more explosive
Hands down
Ppl forgot about this man🤦🏾♂️😔
Exactly why he’s a college football hof now
Never
After the " Blunt" issue at Boise State, we needed a leader, James stepped up and forever engraved his name in the Ducks hall of Fame!!!
what issue was that??

Nick Fairly is 100% the reason Auburn won that game. Rest of Auburns D was good but he single handed stuffed the inside zone play.

Was ahead of his time for sure. Him in today's game would of been a crazy sight.
This man the reason i started playing RB
9:38...he actually had a touchdown in the BCS championship game against Auburn. It wasn't a rushing touchdown, but still a touchdown
This guy now helps run a burger flipping business in oregon called "Killer Burger"
He actually makes a pretty good burger.!
My favorite RB ever
I was in middle school and watched him make ESPN top 10 plays as a highschool player , said wherever he goes to college I’ll be a fan, been a duck fan ever since #QuackAttack
absolute Legend
Always thought he couldve been the next Warrick Dunn. He got drafted by the wrong team imo...
I think he'd flourish in Kyle Shannahan's offense. For some reason he got into Harbaugh's doghouse.
Unfortunately the teams he went to weren't set up to use his talents, they were set up for bigger backs and no speed, had Tennessee picked him up with Mariota things might have been different.
The juiceMANN.
Thanks LaMichael
My all time favorite college rb
Just thought about him today dude was a beast
Texarkana in the house
He was magic!

He would fit well on todays 49ers
He was a on a run heavy team he just kept fumbling and couldn't take the second string spot from hunter
When u had LaMicheal James, Marcus Mariota and Tavon Austin all on the sane team it wasn't fair
Oregon Havent had a RB like L James since
🐐
that natty was sad man😭😭
My childhood 😢
Man I feel bad for Darron Thomas ….he was having a hell of a year before he hurt his knee.
Oregon use too whoop on teams 😂😂
To*
Dillon Edwards playing for Prime reminds me a lot of James
LaMichael James, Darren Thomas, LaGarrett Blount, Jeff Mael
I know his mom sweet lady never met him by this time he was already playing for organ then the 49ers his mom was my neighbor
She was mine to I remember that house burned down they lived In we went yo dumbar together
Lanark
The 49ers underutilized him so bad ruined this man's career
😐😐 He had way more 20+ runs wassup wit all these 5-10yd plays
Lemme just say he alone was worth paying lyles
FYI. When he broke on that long run in the beginning. He ran a 3.84 40yd dash on the run!
