How to screen mirror to Voge 500AC dashboard

- For some reason, dealers do not really know about this feature, and it is also well hidden from the user. Fortunately, I was able to discover how to make it work. Both Android and iPhone tested, both working fine.

be aware, i bought the 525ACX, and in PT they removed the WIFI option now. and there is no news for android auto option :S
So in the new model it’s not possible to do screen mirroring and WiFi connection?
I also buy the 525 acx and have the same problem… Maybe we can replace the screen to the old ac 500 one? Or maybe the upgraded 525 dsx aftermarket tft screen can fit for the acx 525?
Same here.
There is a WIFI option in the menu but it does nothing. Moreover, the up key is for Bluetooth coonection only, canot even open the WIFI connection menu.
Newer motorcycle but older tech. So sad.

I just bought 1 year old bike, and when i try to connect to wifi, it request password.
Does it have some unique pass for all?
The password is written on the dashboard if you press up button. I only have a single bike, so I do not know for sure. Be aware, there are two modes: Apple mode and Android mode. In Apple mode you connect your phone to the bike's Wi-Fi. In the Android mode you have to setup a hotspot tethering to have mathing Wi-Fi SSID and password. So essentially in Android mode bike connects to your device.
On my bike the default password is 12345678
So i followed directions from site in video description...
When I download app(zip file) phone extract all kind of files and I can't find .app to instal it.
Wtf is wrong with this ??
I changed .zip to .app and all ok.
Definitely problem is my android phone and I dont know how to do that hotspot nonsense...
@@viola2690 you don't have to setup hotspot. Just select Apple mode on the dash and connect your android phone to the motorcycle's Wi-Fi. It will work even with the Android device. The rest is the same - open the app, scan QR code from and you are good to go

Yeah, the website is a little confusing, but the APK download should start in the background once you open the page. Things to check: your downloads folder, opening the website in different browser, with or without VPN, etc.

Hi. As far as I know, English is not supported. But there is no big need anyway - once you set it up, the icon for the screen mirroring is clearly visible, so the main feature is a single tap away, and the and all the other features are not usable outside China ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Motorcycle's wifi does not appear, how can I fix?
Just switch it to the Apple mode and confirm with the Enter key. It should contain 5G in the middle of the SSID name

Thank you very much! ...I'm waiting for my recently bought Voge sr4max; I'll try to mirror iPhone to it with the help of your instructions. There must be a way, as the needed hardware is there, and apps using the specific protocol do also exist.
ONE QUESTION, please: Why your advice about creating a NEW Apple ID? I believe I've used before an app downloaded from other country Store with my actual Apple ID... Wouldn't the app install in phone after just changing AppStore? I think I it did some years ago... perhaps my memory fools me; app remained installed after changing again to my country app Store...
Could you explain briefly why the new Apple ID is needed?

I guess that is just my personal preference, because I find it quite uncomfortable to switch regions all the time I want to install an app which is not available in my primary region. It is also well-supported on the iOS platform when I need to update apps or migrated from the one iPhone to another - I just have to type a password from my other Apple IDs. Not sure how all the connected iCloud services work when changing the region.
If it works fine for you, sure thing you can use a single Apple ID.
One note on the protocol you mentioned: some other apps like EasyConnect do use the same protocol and start the network exchange exactly the same but stop at some point, without getting to actual screen mirroring. So they do use the same protocol the actual support seem to depend on both the bike and the app.
Isn't it a tempting oportunity for a developer to copy or reverse enginering the app and to publish it in other Stores out of China? ...Nobody seems to care about the open space to publish a profitable app for occidental Voge users! @@ReDetection_public
Hi. I also have Voge SR4 max. Could you mirror your phone with any way? I'll try this method today but i don't think it will work. If it will i'll write a comment under this post. (and do you use any voge sr4 forum? Voge is a new brand in my country and and there is no forum/web site to share information)
@@huseyinkoc9038 …I’m quite happy with my sr4max, but info is scarce. No, I haven’t even tried to mirror my phone, it’s not too important for me. Nice scooter, but I find more info about mechanical facts in BMW forums, usually. No useful forums for Voge, and each iteration of same model varies: mine isn’t the same as the one that was sold some months ago in the dashboard implementation. It’s a pity. I keep my ears open to find a solution, but no way it’s going to be me fiddling with this for hours… no real benefit. Anyway, my bike wifi belongs to the camera (which other Voge models don’t use). I suspect Voge even tries to hide the mirroring possibility, as my dashboard is simpler than first units sold.
I've done some research... My SR4 is the second "bunch" of them to come to Spain. First ones had only English & Chinese menus, and wifi was available in the dashboard. Mine has Spanish language also, but wifi has disapeared from menus. I just can locate the camera wifi in my phone (and it works with Boshi app, maker of the camera). Meanwhile, in China, wifi system in SR4 (LX350 named there) has always worked. Situation in Europe varies depending of country; I suposse is empresarial and distribuitors planning. I may be wrong in this, but is my belief.@@huseyinkoc9038

I did not - English is not supported. Once you set it up, you only need to press a single button inside the app to start streaming, so it is not a big problem. First time you have to navigate by the icons or English parts of the menu.

@@hasansolak17 once you connect your phone to the motorcycle's Wi-Fi, open the app and choose to connect with QR code. This is only required once, then it is going to connect automatically

The original app from the dash developer. It is called 驾驶伴侣, but it is only available in the mainland China. In the end of the video there is a link with information how to get it installed.
hello! i can connect to motorcycle WiFi but my cell phone can't use 4g data :(! if i connect 4g data, wifi connection drops.
Well that sounds very inconvenient. What is the device you use? I am lucky mine works fine with both wifi and 4G at the same time. Until you set it up to forcefully use mobile data, I would suggest to try some offline navigation app, such as Organic Maps. Google Maps is also able to download the whole region, might be worth a try
