So, bummer, I dropped my S1K in my driveway, again lol, sucks but this stuff happens, I’m honestly not to upset about it, it blows of course but the GB racing engine cover and frame sliders did their job and took most of the damage. Not sure when I’ll have the damaged parts replaced tbh, anyways, make sure your machines are protected! Get your frame sliders and engine guards, they saved my bike and wallet, take care everyone, be safe and I’ll see you guys on the next one ✌️

I really hate when I accidentally drop my bike. I applaud your ability to stay calm and video it. I feel like the quicker I pick it up the less the damage will be which makes absolutely no sense 🤔. I like how you create a video from any event. I'm glad you're frame sliders saved your fairing. Crystal will be ok.
We all think that way, first reaction is to pick it up as fast as possible, it’s just that I didn’t wanna see the damage and I needed a sec to collect myself because I was expecting the entire right side to be trashed, and yeah frame sliders did their job along with the GB racing cover!! I recommend to everyone…don’t ever ride a bike without them!! She’ll be alright 👍
Frame sliders work 💪
Frame sliders and engine covers for the win man 🫡
Man thats awesome no damage was done! Every time I move my bike I always have my kickstand up and I lean the bike onto me slightly. It helped me out a lot.
super blessing on that one bro I do the same thing moving my bike I keep leaving the kick stand down I have to remember to leave it up for sure now... stay safe out there
100% & Yeah man, one silly mistake and look what happens, I got away lucky though, you gotta be on point with these bikes always.. even moving them around while they’re off, thank you & stay safe as well 👍
I'm happy to see that the "Bike Gods" were on your side brother, feel extremely blessed to have dodged a major expense...
Protection's always a PLUS!👽
Yeah no kidding lol not the biggest fan of the guards and sliders but boy do they work when you need them 👍
I am so very grateful that, you dont have major damage. It is so very minor. I treasure my bike like you treasure Crystal. I dropped my bike in my driveway twice and messed up my gas tank. Then I realized that, stuff just happens sometime not all the time. It is ok Sir, because you can repair it easy. I have been trying to meet up with you guys. I even went to TW Tuesday hoping to meet you all. I wrote you before. I have a 051000 GSXR1000 that is mint just like Crystal. Just remember that those minor things can be replaced very easy. I also repair motorcycles as well.
Thanks a lot dude, I’m happy the damage is pretty minor too & yeah you’re right, things happen, I would’ve never thought my bike would go down from the kick stand knicking the ground but hey lol I’ll repair everything whenever I feel like it, kinda focused on getting a grom honestly so we’ll see how that goes, I think I remember your message, I get so many messages on there I haven’t even looked at my DM recently but the next good Tuesday that’s hosted at the skyline I’ll be there! Hope to see you 👍
@@MADLITS1K you mentioned good Tuesday hosted at the skyline, where is it located?
@@raykirton3870 It’s somewhere in Brooklyn, check the Instagram account (ridemoretalkless) for the exact location, it should be this Tuesday or next, this Tuesday looks like rain though
I feel so bad for you, it’s a horrible feeling as the bike starts to drop and you realise you can’t hold it. Upside is the damage is minimal and easily sorted. The bike still looks mint!!
Yeah once it gets to that point of no return when it’s leaned over just enough it’s a sucky feeling lol but yeah I’ll get the replacement parts sorted soon, glad my plastics and carbon are okay!
Man I droped my Ninja 400 like week ago, I didn't see it at first but today i found a half inch crack on a tail plastic and today I stumbled on this vid of yours. It hurts so bad 😢
I hope you are doing good
Sorry for your mishap bro… I know what it’s like man … Thank goodness for those GB Racing guards & the frame sliders… Keep the shiny side up & have a lifetime of great rides !!! Peace ✌🏻
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words & same to you 🤝
Wow, I truly felt some way seeing this, knowing how we feel about our bikes, mines being a MT07, yes my guy, luck was on your side but, from what I see you always pushing great energy, so you was able to collect on it........QGTM !
It’s a sad sight to see your bike laid over on its side but it is what it is lol most of the parts will be replaced shortly already sourced a few things 👍
a roller coaster of emotions; glad it worked out :) everytime i've dropped my S1KRR, i've always had to wait a second or two... for it to stop sliding. i have not been so lucky, hah.
LOL! Yeah i remember watching your practice videos or even the video when it was cold outside and you rode and the bike slipped, Im 2 drops in now, we need to stop beating up these beautiful bikes 😆
I always love your videos man! watching from PH!! cool bike!
Thanks a lot man appreciate it 👍
I had an LSL Frameslider save my GSXR at a crash at the track. Great sliders. Glad you didn't have more damage!
Thank you! & Whats funny is I never even heard of LSL frame sliders until I looked into different sliders other than the R&G and I just went with them because they looks decent, I was always worried if they’d actually hold up in a drop, thankfully they did their job!
Ouch that hurt me haha i havent dropped my R6 yet cuz im always trying to be super careful moving it around my drive way but on the street at a red light it almost happened to me twice now🤣 (im still learning tho) but it happens, and your right, thats why you invest in thoes things to protect your bike. Glad she's ok🚀💨
Thanks man I’m glad it’s all good to and be careful out there! You never know what’s going to cause a drop, 9/10 it’s something super silly you wouldn’t even expect lol hopefully you never experience it but YUP! Gotta guard up your bike and save your wallet 👍
Our Heart skips a beat when we drop our bikes. Thank God nothing much happened, bro. Crazy that frame slider worked.
Yeah man It’s a bummer for sure but can’t be to upset.. the damage was minor and I got away lucky! That little skimpy frame slider actually did something haha glad it worked 👍
good thing the sliders were there.. sucks that it happened but luckily the expensive parts were saved. i had a similar incident with my gsxr, buddy hopped off the back before i was ready, but the slider saved it. frame sliders FTW.
I thought about going no sliders this summer to.. luckily I found some that I like and they actually worked really well along with the engine cover, does suck but things happen, I’m also glad all the pricey stuff were saved lol
Props for remaining calm and pulling out the camera to record this. Frame sliders helped a ton. All the expensive parts were saved.
Honestly I didn’t want to pick the bike up lol I thought the entire right side was done so I said hey, might as well film it haha, frame sliders are the truth!
Great content ❤️

❤️Enjoy❤️
Stay safe.
🤯🤯🤯 saved big time I'm glad every is okay tho 👍🏾
Yeah i got off easy with this drop tbh!
Happens bro. Funny thing is that after it happens you're not scared of it anymore and you have the experience of knowing where the limit is.
Correct lol. my first time ever dropping a bike was dropping this bike last year, worst feeling ever, this time around I was just kinda like ah man, that sucks, hope my carbon is okay lol this is actually less damage than last summers drop
That's why I stay scared
Once you truly quit worrying about keeping the bike looking like it did on the showroom floor x years ago; it's like the soul of the bike becomes free and your mind centers with the engine. Keep the chain clean and lubed, and try to keep it cleaned but at the end of the day these things literally love to be out in the shit, you can hear them screaming their revs and ripping up the streets with joy like they're alive.
Damn bro I'm sorry to hear that, keep your head head up though.
Thank you dude, will do 🫡
For both my 650 and R7, I made sure I got protection first before anything. Bar ends, frame sliders, front and rear axle sliders, and GB racing case covers. I adivse anyone that loves their bike to get that first. I was even thinking of getting a crash cage for my R7 just because I have the anniversary edition.
You can find a safety clip at autozone- Home Depot….
Or safety wire that rear set bolt
Y'all don't feel too bad we've all been there and done that at least once but yo go to your local hardware store and get a c clip for that shift lever pin probably be 50 cents and you don't have to worry about it anymore.
Very nice. I hope my protection will stop the damage as well as yours. Luckily I haven't dropped my s1000rr but I have dropped my honda africa like 4 times 😅. Of course it's got crash bars so no biggie.
As long as it’s a baby drop it should all good & yeah I feel like people toss those adventure bikes around willy nilly lol kinda like dirt bikes
Glad to see your bike didn’t get hurt too bad😅 I just wanted to ask what carbon fiber brand you have on your bike? Specifically on tail of your bike? Thanks man! Keep making those videos man!
Honestly it’s a mix, I forgot lol just a heads up though you’ll almost always have fitment issues regardless of the brand. You’ll have to do some sort of shaving and stuff to make it fit. Generally anyways. A lot of my carbon fit pretty spot on, except for the tail.
Lucky my brother!
Extremely!
HA! I'm surpried you didnt run and pick it up instantly. Thats what I usually do, worried might flood the engine or something.
I've been riding bikes all my life, I've Never dropped any of my bikes,.. dropping a RR ...how on earth do you do that, inexperience comes to mind !!
Sometimes a drop is good. Now you can relax and don't have to always be paranoid of scratching it because it's already been scratched!
Pretty much lol got my first drop out the way last summer actually so didn’t really care to much about this one, yeah it sucks but I was way more chill about it lol
Most people: Pick their bike up with the quickness.
MADLITS1K: Make a UA-cam video with it still on the ground.
🤣
🤷♂️🤷♂️
I didn’t wanna see how the side was looking tbh I thought the entire right side was done so I just left it haha
Oh my goodness 🥲 My heart felt down😳🥹
Haha mines too
🤔 my next order will be some frame sliders, for sure!!! Glad you saved some money bro!! Those carbon pieces are expensive!!!!
Asap! Gotta protect that new new my guy lol and me too! Especially since I’m trying to get a grom sometime soon haha
@@MADLITS1K I seen the title and I was like “Oh No!” Felt for ya bruh! Know you put that work in!! I dropped my first bike because I thought the kickstand was down and it wasn’t! I tried to save it but shit was too heavy!!! Lessons learned!!
Be safe, I’ve dropped mine when I was in a parking lot riding in 1st gear and it had some damage but I have good frame sliders what took the big hit was my handle bar and I feel like my front axels are moved idk, I’ll try to adjust them but either way I saw looking for some upgrades lol, stay safe!!
Yeah get that checked out man! Sounds kinda sketchy but will do and you be safe out there as well 👍
@@MADLITS1K yups, we learn from our own mistakes but that’s bike life, thankful that it wasn’t worse!
I myself have not purchased a bike yet but from what I've learned from this video is
1). Invest in a frame slider / engine cover
2). Do not push your bike with the kick stand out 😅
Glad there was not much damage. You have a beautiful bike. I wish to own one of these one day.
Bingo lol and I’m glad too, thank you and you will man just keep working towards it 👍
That’s why I got my stunt cage coming it tired of buying new fairings
im honestly ready to just put this bike up and grab my grom already and start my build with that thing lol
Almost dropped my full carbon gsxr those few seconds of panic felt like an eternity in hell
Oh yeah, the way down feels like ages especially if you’re fighting to keep it up like I was 😂 & yeah the carbon was my biggest fear, hope you have some guards and stuff though man just incase!
Thank you frame slider
Exactly what I said when I picked it up haha
Order an assorted c clip set off Amazon for the rear set piece that keeps falling off. Cheap and good to have
Thanks will do 👍
Luckily, not too bad.
Yo, where’d you get your seats from?
They’re fire 🔥
Real lucky and it’s fabric I ordered off of eBay and I had a upholstery shop put it over the oem seat 👍
Those frame sliders, bro. "Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it."
Man Im telling you lol they really do save your bike during these low speed drops or tip overs, glad I had them on for sure!
My guy...you can polish that scratch in the exhaust w some metal polish and a rag. Bike looks great..you a lucky son of gun 🔫 lol thank god that was the only damage🙏 time to get some engine covers for me!
Good idea I’ll probably look into that and yeah I got mad lucky man lol definitely pick up a set of GB racing covers.. the peace of mind is worth it 🤝
Be safe bro bikes can be replaced
Thanks man will do, appreciate it 🫡
I hope you will read this bro, great stuff as always btw ! But what kinda passenger rear brackets/sets do you have on your bike ? They look amazing
Thanks! And I’m not sure what you’re asking but the passenger pegs are OEM and the rear sets are driven racing TT rear sets!
@@MADLITS1K alright thanks bro! Was indeed asking for the passenger pegs haha but thanks once again! Keep doing your thing !
Bro that shit happens to the best of us... Once that 400lb goes dead weight, no coming back
Yeah facts lol no saving it once it goes to far over
That's why I say frame sliders save lifes, some ppl out there advocate against frame sliders, saying they might crack the frame in a crash or bend torwards a fairing (and sure that can happen), but they're meant for low energy (mainly speed) drops. Thank God Crystal is OK, that thumbnail almost got me panicking haha
My ZX6R (more or less) went to the ground once earlier this year when she was short of 2500km (1555mi), bought it brand new less than 3 months before this. I was at my girlfriends place and she (the bike) stayed at the condo's parking lot which wasn't covered and it was raining A LOT every night for about 2 weeks, one night the floor (bad asphalt) went too wet and the side stand just sunk into the ground, all the way until the frame slider caught on the border of the sidewalk, and thankfully that was the only thing that got in contact with the ground. The fairings were about half an inch from the sidewalk border. Such a relief.
Seeing brand new, shiny, so loved (and expensive af) bike on the ground was desperating, as I walked up to her, I was already summing up the costs for repairs.
I still have a video and some pics of what happened, I'll dm you on Instagram with them.
Guys (especialmente os brasileiros), when picking your bikes up on the dealership, make sure you have insurance, and "drop protection", because you never know what and when it's gonna happen.
Searching for the pictures I saw, It happened just when it made 1 month with me. I picked her up on December 24 2021, and it (the situation) happened on January 28 2022
Yeah I’ve heard about cons of sliders but I really believe the pros out weigh the cons lol, crazy story man I’m glad your bike is okay, the stories of drops are always interesting to me, a good majority of drops happen without the bike even being on or just at 0mph with something random happening and causing it. & good tips!
@@MADLITS1K Absolutely, wind is a hell of a bike dropper, for example
Crazy
Bummer
It's ok. Remember my black R1 from that day we met Yeaaaaaa it's totalled. On that note Stayyyyyyy MARRRVVVEEELLOOUUSSS
dude no way, dammit man, hopefully you’re not banged up to bad, if you get back to it we gotta get another ride in sometime or something 🫡
@@MADLITS1K it was part of my lesson. I learned a few things. Someone clipped me while riding. I learned to always wear gear as the first lesson.
@@cricedaking1 bummer but you’re right man, hopefully you’ll be back out eventually man if that’s the direction you go, if so I’ll see ya 🤙
My dude, your mirror block off's are on the wrong sides, switch around 😉
It’s happens it happened to me twice already , the 2nd time was just before the ride to revzilla bk in my driveway my pants got caught on something on the bike just before exiting the driveway I ended up under the bike lmao …and for not wearing my gloves I took more damage than dropping the bike combined ….thank god the engine covers took the hit smh
ugh man, it stings alil more when it’s something so silly too lmao but hey man hopefully you heal up quickly and at least your bike is still here and rideable 👍
Damn u got lucky bro. Very minor damage.
Yeah tell me about it lol
Sorry bout the drop bro.
It’s all good man thanks!
You definitely got lucky!
Your chain is in great shape! How often are you cleaning it?
For sure and Every couple of rides, kind of overkill but I prefer the clean look especially with a gold chain lol
@@MADLITS1K I can tell! Looks good!
THA STRESS IS REAL FFS.
Tell me about it 😓
Tha min I saw ur thumb nail............ I dred dropping my S1K always in tha back of my mind 🤔
@@NRJ. yeah i did to, until it happened last year and I realized big deal I’ll just change out the parts lol still sucks though
That’s bad man
sure is
I had the dealership install a pair of frame sliders before I picked my bike up. Do not leave the dealership without them.
FACTS, this is twice now that sliders have saved the entire right side of my bike, I’m honestly not a fan of how they look but it’s a MUST mod
your lucky but still beautiful bike
super lucky! & thank you
i always sit on my bike when i wheel it around, hard to drop it that way
True, although that gets a bit tedious and I lack patience sometimes lol
Sorry man, I know the feeling...
All good lol most of the parts will be replaced shortly, I think lol
that’s y i don’t move my bike with kick stand down. the same thing almost happen to me because of the kick stand.
Good call
Bumboclatt my yout!!nooooo
Whomp whomp whomp haha
I dropped mine in my gravel driveway the first week I had it. It sucks but it happens.
Gravel driveway while owning a motorcycle? You brave son of a bitch 🫡 haha naw yeah it sucks but it’s life man not sweating it to much, this is the 2nd drop of this bike so it’s kinda like meh whatever I’ll fix it when I can lol not as dramatic as my first drop, I wanted to legit cry lol
@@MADLITS1K I know the feeling. Scratched my right side fairing some and the lower fairing. Scratched the right bar end a little and brake lever. Scratched the factory exhaust but I was changing it out anyway. Will eventually put carbon fiber parts so not to worried. I was lucky it didn’t get none of the gas tank or engine components. Also scratched the right mirror a little but I will be changing those out also eventually.
The following is not a cheap shot and it's not my intentions. Over my 50 years of motorcycling I have some experience dropping my bikes, especially in the driveway. It's embarrassing and sometimes expensive. Here's my suggestion in the case of your drop. Move the bike on the opposite side of the kickstand with the kickstand down. This way when the bike gets away to the left, most times the kickstand will catch it. When the bike gets away on the right you can handle that. This technique has saved my bacon more times than I would like to admit.
That’s the most logical but with sport bikes and your exhaust being on the right it just easier to move it around on the left side but good point never the less
@@MADLITS1K Other than my Harley I have 3 modern Japanese sport bikes and it's not a problem once you get used to it. By the way, I sit on my Harley to move it. Harley Davidson designed the kickstand in such a way that makes it almost impossible to move the bike safely with it down. Anyway, to each their own. Just a friendly suggestion that has saved me many times.
Ooo noooo
ooo yes
😬lucky is not hit the carbon to much
Yeah I’ll take the baby Knick on the tail over destroying it completely lol
whats the weight on that?
Prolly around 400lb range
Whyyyy😤
I know right!
Saved By Those Trash Cans
They actually did help break the fall a tad bit!
C-clips are available from the parts store in many sizes.
yeah good point, I should stop being lazy and go grab one lol
Then pick it up
I’m jk. But yes frame sliders save lives
I like the way you think, simple problem simple solution haha frame sliders for the win!
How does this happen? Is it because the bike is too tall for you? I'm reading the comments and a lot of guys have dropped their bikes. I have traditionally ridden Harley Davidsons, that weigh hundreds of pounds more than sport bikes, and I have a very steep driveway; yet, I have NEVER dropped one of my motorcycles. Note: I began typing before you explained what happened, but I left the comment anyway, because like I said, there were a lot of other guys that said they dropped their bikes.
Moving the bike on uneven ground is a recipe for disaster. At least the bike had crash protection. How much crash protection do you have when you’re riding? I see a bunch of videos where you’re riding around without a bike jacket. Think about it.
With the kickstand down.
Pardon my french
Kiss mi granny ..............Rass in hell
LOL!
@@MADLITS1K boy I seen the bike on its side and I got up to check my bike that's how bad I felt

Make it 2k and a pack of gum today only
Nothing major
facts, already ordering the replacement parts even though I was going to leave it lol it’s going to bother me to much, I gotta change out the slider and engine cover at the very least but we’ll see
