i don’t think it’s messy at all and honestly i already know they’re going to be pretty successful within a reasonable amount of time because they’ve already gotten fans to be emotionally attached via the predebut content so nothing else really matters. they’ve done amazing at marketing the group way before they even had their debut. people younger than them have debut, and nowadays it’s just becoming a norm in kpop anyway. i honestly hated batter up on first listen but look at me now, i’ve got my clown mask because it’s now my 4th most streamed song this month. honestly watch them get the momentum to possibly be as big or nearly as big as blackpink

Actually what do you mean by adult? On or over 20? When Itzy debuted, none of them are on or over 20. Yuna is even 15 when she debuted, which is just one year older than Chiquita when she debuted. At least BabyMonster has 1 ‘adult’
Also, BabyMonster is a 5th gen group, you don’t have to compare them to 4th gen. Regarding the ‘cringy lyrics’ and ‘strange beats’ you mentioned, there are much much worse, those are not that ‘cringy’ as mentioned

If there are people who sexualize minors, it is clearly that person's fault.
Why even blame the agency? come on, you don't live in a cave, right?
They decided to join, then tried hard to qualify and debut.
And you go around saying they'll just be puppets?
    Hey, that's rude.
    People are build different.
If you are a loser and can't understand how a champion lives, it doesn't mean their life is not good.
That's just because you don't have a mentality as strong as theirs
In any entertainment industry, it is common for children under the average age to start a career. And there is always a place for pedophiles to express their bad desires.
Normal people wouldn't be so stupid as to sexualize minors. It's just a matter of sick people. And they are the ones to blame.
And many of your complaints don't even match reality. You could say the debut was a mess, the songs weren't hits, blah blah blah.
Meanwhile, in fact, they are actually achieving more and more, despite the pressure put on them by the antis and without music shows promotion.
They only upload content on their social media and they are still successful.
Maybe your assessment is not very objective.
If you don't like it, it doesn't mean it's bad.
Learn that, so that your narrow mind can be more open.

      Plus,
Considering that you know some of them are minors, you actually put more pressure on them.
Even making special video like this, saying that their debut was disappointing.
Doesn't that mean you're the one who's heartless?
Imagine if you were in their position, doing hard work and trying hard to debut, then seeing the reactions of people like you on social media.
Are you sure you can accept that?
Before blaming others, reflect on yourself. Is what you say here worth hearing? Or it's you who actually doesn't care about them. 😊

Your comment clearly says that u haven't understood what I said. I am not blaming the girls for anything. Of course it's the people's fault abt sexualizing them, but also the company.
And abt the song, again I said that if you like it, it's good for you. It's just not my cup of tea. And, again as I said, of course they'd have many views - first YG gg since blackpink. And besides, most of them are from ads. But that completely fine. I am not hating them for having success or anything.
I'm sharing why I think it was a messy debut and it's my opinion. If someone doesn't agree then it's completely fine🖤

I'm not saying that you blame the girls.
What I'm saying is, debut is a decision for both parties.
So why not respect their decision?
All work has consequences, at least they know this is their way to realizing their dream of becoming an idol.
Blaming one party is the same as blaming the other party who also agreed to the contract.
About the song, If that's not your thing, that's completely fine.
I also prefer their pre-debut song Dream, but I can still enjoy Batter Up, for me this is suitable for a debut song, some say the lyrics are cringey, but I can understand that, because most of them are still teenagers.
And one of the members, Asa was involved in making the lyric and composed the song, much appreciate it. This is a good start.
I know this is all your personal opinion.
I just don't understand, what exactly did you expect from their debut.
Even though their debut could be considered a success.
Not only from the number of UA-cam views, but also brand reputation and other music platform charts.
It's not like their debut was miserable.
I won't talk about ads, because that's quite bold statement.
But I won't stop you if you have proof of that statement.
I assume it's part of the promotion, just like in the BP era.
