I'm just glad that I wasn't alone in my confused reaction to The Shield theme playing because my brain was like "...there's no way they got Moxley here for this...but also the way this match has been going I can't 100% rule that out"
My last memory with my dad before he passed was april 2014 he passed in November, when brock beat takers streak at wm 30 so seeing taker at wm 40 really brought a tear to my eye making me remember those memories
I was so shocked to see John Cena and The Undertaker return 😲 ✝️ and I was equally shocked to hear The Shield's theme hit again at WrestleMania 😮 🛡 5:146:057:528:509:119:5412:3413:3213:5222:0523:03 Best WrestleMania moment ever 🔥 SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA SHIELD 🛡
It is amazing how just a simple gong of the bell can send everyone in the arena and watching around the world into a joyous frenzy, greatest moment ever
People don't understand Seth was the fucking MVP of WrestleMania. The man knew what he was doing hitting "The Shield" music, putting on the gear, and entering the ring with a chair. He knew Roman could/would not pass up the opportunity for revenge and delivered on his word to be Cody's shield, taking the chair shot, giving Cody the chance to finish his story. He's "The Architect"' for a reason.
So Seth was obviously long time story telling at its finest, Roman couldn't ignore him and just finish cody, the rest is just huge amounts of fun and nostalgia, I have a question tho, is the fact that undertaker made the run in instead of what everyone "wanted" in stone cold, so my question is does the undertaker make this better or would it still have been better with stone cold?
And actually Taker made more sense as he had a feud with Roman in where he tried to pass the torch to him. Also, Taker was known as the "conscience of WWE" and when Rock started his "Final Boss" BS, Taker had enough. Austin had no connection to any of it.
Whether what your opinion is of the single greatest moment in profesional wrestling history, you cannot deny that we got one of the greatest moments EVER last night.
I have come around from thinking that The Undertaker was so ridiculous and random and pointless to now believing it to be an absolute stroke of genius.
He and the Rock did have history, for a long time Taker was the one who would come out and put wrestlers in their place(in kayfabe, though he was a leader in the locker room, too) and he had that streak at Wrestlemania for a long time
Love the cinema with Seth. In storyline he got the shit kicked out of him 24 hours ago, then he lost a finisher fest with Drew that fucked him up more like 3 hours prior, then comes back to take a couple hits for Cody. Dressed in Shield colours, using Shield music, all to trigger Roman.
Cody assembled the motherf***ing Avengers to take down The Bloodline and we're all here for it. Jey Uso, John Cena, Seth Rollins, The Undertaker...we just needed Stone Cold and it would have been complete.
Undertaker cameo was awesome but the glass shattering and Stone Cold I think would have been just that little bit cooler given The Rock and Stone Colds history.
That's because he was already announced. Go back and watch the pop Austin gets when he helps Mankind win the title then tell us he wouldn't get a pop bigger than this.
But this wasn't about Rock and Austin. It was about Roman, and Austin has no history with Roman. Taker has history, WRESTLEMANIA history, with both Roman and Heyman.
Undertaker gave that look like "I may be retired, but I ain't dead yet."
😅😅😅
I'm the deadman, but I'm not dead man!
He’s always been dead, that’s the trick
“I’m the real Final Boss”

That's exactly what he did
He sacrificed everything to end Roman's empire. Rollins is the true hero of this story.
I guess he takes time off, comes back to a massive pop
Not only that, but he triggered Roman's Shield PTSD which caused him to attack Seth and not use the chair on Cody
