बिल्कुल सही कहा आपने लेकिन इसके बिषय में न तो कम्पनी बताती है और न ही अरविंद जी जैसे इनवर्टर विशेषज्ञ यूट्यूबर। इसमें आप डीओडी कुछ भी सेट करो जब तक बैटरी फुल चार्ज 28वोलट से ज्यादा नहीं होगी यह मेन पर नहीं आता है ।अगर आप मैनुअली बन्द नहीं करते हैं और ग्रिड अनेबल रखतें हैं निश्चित रूप से आपका बिल बढ़ कर आयेगा।

Power cut is not an issue in the place of my residence but I am interested in installing a solar inverter working on a single 12v battery (say 150AH) for home lighting use only (say about 800vA) primarily to use solar energy and save on electricity bill.
Can you suggest a solar inverter with the following features:
1. Charging of battery to max capacity during the daytime only from solar panel not from grid supply.
2. In the evening/night provide power supply from the battery (even when the grid supply is available) for lighting loads till an adjustable preset battery level (say 30%) is reached.
3. When battery preset level is reached automatically change over to grid supply but not charge the battery with grid supply.
4. In case of an actual power cut (daytime/evening/night) automatically change over to battery supply till an adjustable preset battery low level (say 10%) is reached.
5. Manual option for charging battery from grid supply to an adjustable preset level (say 50%).
In this way use of solar energy can be maximized and use of grid supply minimized in home lighting.

All together as a package I got it for ₹68000 from a UTL dealer in Bangalore city. This does not include MC4 connectors, Solar DC wires and installation. They will be extra and cost about ₹8000/-.
With this UTL PCU I can meet most of my requirements by adjusting the various settings by trial and error.
As per the technical specifications of this PCU 1000W of Panel and 200AH battery are the maximums. But if you are planning to use this in a residential house to reduce your electricity bill, 1000W panels are OK but you will need more battery AH, maybe 300AH or 400AH.

For maximum solar power utilisation what should be the settings.
Should we put the inverter always on or off(Front panel Switch).
Should we put Battery priority or mains priority.
Should we put mains charging on or off(by keeping the MCB on or off during daytime)
