My question is, since it's already been proven, we don't have the infrastructure to maintain all electric vehicles, so why don't they create a hybrid vehicle? Use electric for short distance, and gas for long distances. Especially when POTUS gave all of the money to big pharmacies and Ukraine.

Maybe GM should start building pharmacies then

It is so sad to watch this knowing that GM will be bankrupt in 3-5 years. I am not even sure if NBC/Mainstream media will last 3-5 years either. GM China sales are plummeting. GM is not a change agent. Tesla has the only EV for mass consumption in the US/World. I have a 2014 Escalade that I will nurse along until Tesla produces a larger SUV. Till then I will drive my 2021 Tesla Model Y.

Tesla can't even produce an electric pick-up truck.

    Yeah.
How about aligning your management to make sure that my $40,000 truck has a radio that will work on the AM band so I can listen to the Giants games ?
Your product development group seems to be focused on gadgetry, not usefulness.
Ergo: a " truck" that has 4 doors and a 5 ' long bed. Drive one to Home Depot and load it with plywood, lumber and sheetrock.
    ( Thats a joke )
We were way better off when we could order cars and trucks configured for our needs instead of someone elses profit margin.

The future of cars is simple: Nobody will purchase cars anymore. It doesn’t make financial sense.
Modern cars are so expensive and poorly-made that only a fool would waste his money on such a bad investment.
A used car can be leased for for a small monthly payment. There are no taxes, or repairs. Just a rented car which can be returned anytime. If the collision insurance is mileage based, then it’s an even better deal.
A Hertz rental car remains in the fleet for about three years, and has a book value of about five thousand dollars. So the fully-loaded cost of leasing that car, inclusive of maintenance and repairs, would be around two hundred dollars a month.
That’s three hundred dollars a month to the customer.
So why buy a new car? And to be even more efficient, people could form neighborhood clubs. If you want to go somewhere, just put your destination in the app; and see if you can get a ride.
But communists don’t want people to be happy, or satisfied, or relaxed, or neighborly.
So I guess those $100,000 Detroit junkmobiles will keep selling.
    At gunpoint.
