Is there a sequence diagram/life cycle showing how does wordpress builds the entire application? Or how does it bootstrap? 2. Any details video on architecture? E.g. if I have to create my own "Wordpress", how will I start? Not sure if my questions are clear :)
This diagram is useful for understanding some of the logic behind how a page is loaded in a given request. i.stack.imgur.com/KhJPd.png You might also find this article helpful for understanding how bootstrapping happens as part of a request lifecycle. As far as creating your own CMS, you might be better off looking through the code. Hello. I’m currently using a host for my wordpress site and would like to move to api for self management for future income options.. what would you suggest is a good please to begin learning
That's a little past the scope of what we are typically doing for clients so don't have a great answer for you. We are building marketing sites so we avoid the complexity that an API approach brings.
I just wish I had seen this video when I was starting out with Wordpress - it would have helped make sense of everything.
