It helps to remember that wealth ultimately comes from the ground, not someone else's pocket. But even though it comes from the ground, you often find that wealth in someone else's pocket, but before that person with pull another nugget from the earth, they must first be persuaded to let the first go, and if you don't make a profit, they will have it and thus have no reason to dig another one.

I'm fairly new to crypto, less than a year. In Oct/nov 2022 I was up about 14k. Didn't sell, FTX happened and it all went in the toilet. I basically went back to a bit below even, so no harm done, but man I'm kicking myself over that one. Lesson learned.
