His outlook and things that he's learned over the years are impressive. Acknowledging that he can't keep up in certain areas and taking it upon himself to get the education necessary to improve his standing is something we don't see every day.
This 'fool' as you call him, is a Harvard student. Much like the early Hip Hop artists who were scorned because they wore jeans and sneakers to business meetings, which later because billion dollar style, this gentleman can do what he wants.
This man really put in the work for all of what he deserves. 'You can be a boss and a student at the same time'. That's respect. Btw solid job by the interviewer, she asked well built to the point questions without ever getting in the way of or overpowering the responses of the interview subject. That's a great skill in this professional setting.
