These north Indians they screw up the name of the country. The mallus of Kerala are pretty similar to the Sri Lankans, they're very quiet and introvert in a way.
It's not difficult to pick out Sri Lankans out from the crowd. They are generally quieter because talking loud isn't encouraged when they grow up(unless they are from coastal regions) They smile more. Good morning = smile, thanks = smile, acknowledge you = smile. Highly literate people but prefer to stay quiet. Indians in general, on the other hand has a different way of enjoying life, more outgoing, more energetic and of course louder. Many Sri Lankans will tolerate the behaviour(which is strange to them) but, you know, "when in Rome, speak Roman"
The Indian tourists were loud but happy and harmless. There are tourists from various countries who make things difficult for locals and other visitors as well. But these guys seem like a happy and helpful bunch. Live and let live, and let them have a memorable journey in our country.
