You should have went all the way back to Green River Lakes. My favorite overland route ever! Union Pass is the reason I now overland. I get back every year, and it never gets old! Great video, thanks for shining some light on an amazing hidden gem. Hope more people can check it out!
Another one! Man, that was so cool. Noticed the hook on the winch was swinging a bit…..drum roll…..did you use it??!! Beautiful views. We’re heading out that way and hoping to stop through some of the easier Wyoming trails you’ve reviewed!
Stunning! What time of year was this? Also wondering- were the massive tree kills the result of fire or beetles? Keep posting- I've subscribed and love your style.
Great video. I really like the offshoot content. It’s nice to see an off-road truck doing off-road things. It’s also cool to get your impressions of the different drive modes and tools like Trail Turn Assist. Did you use “Rock Crawl mode? Did you get the Torsen front axel? One day you should do a review of your set up, what you have used and how you like it now that you have a lot of saddle time with it.
There are no 14,000-ft. peaks in the Wind River range. It's highest mountain, Gannett Peak, I believe is around 13,809' & is the highest mountain of the northern Rockies. The Great Divide Basin separates the Northern Rockies from the Southern. Yes, there is a geological bowl to the west of Union Pass, & it is formed where the Continental Divide splits & snakes around the ridges that surround Lake of the Woods where it then comes back together & continues on to the north. If you are thinking about the point where 3 major river basins meet ( the Mississippi, the Colorado & the Columbia Rivers) the 3 of them meet at the summit of THREE WATERS MOUNTAIN, not Union Peak.
Youve been using the rtt for awhile now. Whats your honest opinion of an rtt? I am thinking of picking one up soon for my tremor. Use a heating source?
We love the RTT setup. That being said I've currently moved on to a camper wedge. That video will be out soon. As far As RTT buy quality! high quality parts and canvas. Stay away from knockoffs unless it's all you can afford. 23zero, Ikamper, AluCab are a few great options. Second I'd suggest buying something big enough. Our RTT was tight but worked well for us. I'm only 5 9 my wife is 5 3 it's a full size. If your bigger going to a queen size to king is the way to go. Blackout canvas is another huge thing to have in my book. The 23 zero is pitch black even at noon. A wedge is faster to setup vs a clam but I do like the added benefits of a clam to the wedge. That's just a personal pref.
@@TremorTrails ikamper wedge or a tow behind? If youve seen them, im leaning towards the 4x4CO “alto” rtt. Thoughts about bed access at all? Also, yer video was excellent, i had recently done the difficult side of georgia pass and trail called clohesy lake. Tight, rugged, bent the steps up to the doors, pinstrips and lots of puckering. Hope i can make it out to the tremor get together
@williamlutsch4259 thanks brother! We hope to get back up there so much to explore! I'm personally not a fan of tow behinds. We do too many tight trails. I just went to a Dirtbox Overland camper wedge. I'm not personally familiar with Colorado tent but I did see them at the expo. They looked well made.
Love you are out there showing us where you go. A map of all your adventures would be a great resource!
excellent! Looks like a great time being out there!! Loved the scenery as well!
Thanks Ron! Was a cool place for sure!
Those was some Awesome views Thanks for the great content my friend
Thanks for watching!

I agree! We ran out of time. Definitely going back to explore up there more! Beautiful place.
Love Wyoming, my home State, born in Buffalo. Great trout fishing! Fly fishing at 8 years old. We will be back next summer.
Definitely some amazing scenery!
No doubt! Can't wait to get back.
Looks like it will be a cool episode but I am going to wait for it to get out of 360p hell and watch it later at a higher resolution 😁
Yeah! something is going with You tube today :(
@@TremorTrails I came back and glad I waited. it was worth it!! What a beautiful area this is.

Lol. Nope, it's still brand new. Just a little dirty!

Thanks! This was last year in August. Fire unfortunately.

Thank you! Yes, I have a video on my setup and thoughts. It's probably time to do another one as the truck is always changing.

Love this video. What were the dates on this trip?
We were up there in late July. Thanks for checking it out!
Is there camping at the top with the view?
Yes, you can camp there, but you're high, so summer is probably most comfortable. The cameras just didn't show how incredible it was up there!

Would love to me you at the Tremor takeover for sure! It's only a few weeks away. Can't wait to get back to the San Juan's!
