15’s are cool af. If you ever damage the housing, send it to nocturn and get those tubes and glass put into the katana housing they make for just your situation. Cheap way to put those clean tubes in an articulating housing.
I bought a pvs15 housing for $400 without lense assemblies or tubes I am happy I bought it, I have two tubes and just gotta get some reset eye lenses assemblies came with 4 front objective lense assemblies.
Do you still use your objective bikini covers as a daylight cover? Or are the holes too big letting too much light inside the tube for running the unit in daylight?
Imo buy new if you can, if not there are a ton of Facebook Nv groups that have solid people selling solid used units and are honest, thats the biggest thing for me is the honesty. Dont turn to ebay unless you’re getting a specific part or something. That is my personal opinion and recommendation man good luck!
Yes I have, humming can be autogating mine hum fairly loud sometimes, but blacking out completely may be an electronics thing or a tube going bad. How new is the unit

No I think they are a bit to big for a daylight cover but I am not an expert when it comes to the sizing of daylight covers holes 😂

Why are there 2 “on” settings?
First setting is "on" but when you flip the unit up it shuts off and vise versa when flipped down, second "on" is constant on even when stowed

Why the intermittent blurring of the objective lenses?
Just because it was reflective and you could see the camera reflection, so I took that distraction away… and added another distraction with the blur 😂
