  • A walk belt is used for stabilising, guiding and reassuring a patient or client that may have developed a fear of falling and can be one of the more common patient manual handling procedures. It is a wide belt that can be fastened with either Velcro or a plastic clip at the front. Walk Belts have two handles on either side, one positioned more to the front and one positioned more to the back.
