This is the best video. Dont forget to hold black plastic tabs strongly near thr lamp or you will cut bumper, it needs a lot of force. Good luck! I am going to check the radar sensors
Depend where you live, if you are in us I know you can buy this for a subscription but it’s very expensive, most take it down from different sites like eBay there can you buy it for 5$ search for (WIS) and you will fiend!
Please add narration to the video. It would help with little things like pulling the actual bumper off at the sides and small things like that. Excellent video, though.
It’s not that hard as it may look, but you should get sensor before it’s not a big cost for after market and it’s probably that you going to have to replace.
Probably same kind of engineering but could be some different things. You could check if you could access your sensors from underside if you like to change some out.
I think it is absurd that MB designed the car where you have to remove the bumper to get to the parking sensor. My sensor didn't go bad. Rather, when reaching in the trunk to get something my knee hit the sensor and it popped back into the bumper. I just need to pop it back in. When I talked to the dealer, he said if I broke the clip for the sensor, I would need a new bumper. I also want to file it on my insurance saying someone backed into me and left.
Agree it’s really bad that you not can’t reach them with out removing the bumper and the how they are placed with no protection collect dust and water and go bad. Don’t think you need to replace it you can do some easy repair sound bit crazy to change whole bumper. Hope it solve for you, it’s not that bad to do at home 2-3 hours.
@@MB212 I was able to remove and replace them without removing the bumper, if you lie on the floor under the rear of the car you can take them out. Start in the corners where they are a little more accessible and you learn how they are attached. If you can get your car up on some ramps it makes it a bit easier, even if you only lift the car 6 inches or so.

@@MB212 Not the part number I see on the box in the video?
It’s because it’s after market product they use other number. Number in video it’s MB OEM product for easy search.
Ich bin begeistert von der Ruhe, mit der MB212 dieses Video erstellt hat - ohne viele Worte, aber super aussagefähig. Note sehr gut!!!

Thanks for the information 🙏
Thanks a lot! The only video I have found which shows step by step removal of rear bumper in w212 wagon
Hi! Can you show me how to download remove/install guide documents of MB W212 like you using for this clip?! Thanks a lot!
I love those folding towbars but they don't seem to be available here in the UK.
Where did you get the repair manual? Where can I download it from?
I put all Sensor new but still get the Red Dot in the Display but why

Sorry se updated answers (WIS) it’s instructions and (EPC) it’s parts catalog.
Do you have a link where I can get the written paper instructions you're using?
Check eBay for “Mercedes WIS” they cost around 10 $

Sorry not speak English but thanks for input try put more in detail with text next time.
@@MB212 Oh, if you don't speak English, then just keep up the nice work. The video is much appreciated.
Great job
Keep doing what you are doing!
Thank you!
What if you have no fault codes when you check the car, but its all red lights and a long beep when the car is put into reverse? Thanks
Then some of your sensor it’s probably broken it’s was same for me. Not sure why you not got fault code, what kind of reader do you use?
@@MB212 iCarsoft .com product
It should show some code, but it definitely sounds like bad sensor you may take bumper off and look.

Does your scanner diagnose the blind spot sensors?
Not sure about that. Not using this anymore. Now got the “real” Xentry and that’s same unit that MB use.
Curious if the same procedure would apply to a 2014 ML350 4Matic?
Probably same kind of engineering but could be some different things. You could check if you could access your sensors from underside if you like to change some out.
@Sam Nasr - Did you figure out how to install the rear sensor (blind spot assist) on you ML350?
@@worldpeace5853 No, ended up having the dealer do it.
@@Nimce007 How much did it cost you please? I heard the sensors are back ordered for a year.
@@worldpeace5853 If I remember correctly, it was $550 for the parts and $700 for labor. This was Dec 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio.
