The world is a lesser place without Trevor. He brought so much energy, humility, fun and genuineness everywhere. I aspired to have a personality as bright as his. Everytime I saw them live, it seemed like he was having the time of his life with the energy he brought and how much fun he looked to be having. Willing to go out into the crowd and talk to people after their set, watch the other bands perform. Just a tragic fucking loss for all of us. I wish the best for his family, friends and band, I cant imagine the loss they feel. Wherever you are, I hope you know you were loved.
I'm actually astonished that pretty much all of them either were cool with it or at least were amused, no one straight out hated it or disrespected the genre. I know that we should not try to pander to the haters who can't acknowledge that metal requires talent, but honestly I've gotten sick of expecting newbies of understanding why metal is so awesome. The type of people who can't distinguish metal from actual noise do not deserve a second of our attention.
I feel like they had to edit it because if I walked up to a random person I would never get this reaction ever. But its NYC a mix of all sorts of people so I guess its how they found so many chill people?
True A I loved NYC before already. I think I am NY-sexual or so after watching this and reading your comment and after observing the guy proclaiming Rock'n'Roll there :D
You think they went walking the streets of New York and only got 4 people to listen. Lmfao. I'm sure he got some negative reactions but that would of been redundant to include in this video dummy cause this video was part of the promotion for nightbringers. There was probably a good amount who recognized him and ready knew the music they'd still get to listen and react but it wouldn't make sense in this video.
Got into these guys the last 3-4 months just introduced to them, literally been obsessed with their discography, what a vocalist and all round cool guy, it’s ok to speak up and not to be ok 🖤
I still can't believe he's gone... Dude was so fucking hilarious, kind, generous and not to mention extremely talented, creative and inspiring. Such a huge loss. Rest In Power, Trevor, you are missed.
you all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Carlos Bradley thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
RIP to an absolute legend. I’ll never forget the moment I first heard TBDM on headbangers ball when I was like 16 years old. I went and bought Unhallowed the very next day.
The dude at 1:44 is on point and the most honest. RIP TREVOR! Thanks for the amazing imagery conveyed in your lyrics and all the members current and former amazing talent
Black dude at 1:42 is my absolute fav and speaks the truth haha "Its not my thing but I can see for someone who it is it being some turn up" 😂😂😂 Perfect description
He was such a beautiful and inspiring soul! Not to mention the overwhelming creativity his big brain threw at us! Rest easy my brotha you are and will be missed immensely. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
2:46 Dude`s mind was in a knot when he heard that lmao, man Ill miss Trevor so much, one of the biggest class acts in DM for our time, easily one of the kindest musicians I ever met face to face, TBDM was the band that got me into metal no Kapp, your memory will live on forever my friend
"I don't know what he's saying, I love that shit man" hahahaha goes to prove no matter what color, race, or gender you are...Black Dahlia and metal all around brings pure joy!!
have you checked them out more? they arent one of those silly bands that take the dark themes seriously, id bet they are athiests, and their albums are full of technical masterpieces choked full of retro videogame (mostly castlevania, my favorite retro game franchise) tbdm is one of the last truly great metal bands on a major label. no compromise and best of all NO pop element at all like their pussy metal core collegues (august burns red etc)
He was so unique, I mean BDM has always been a fun band in my book, him and Bryan being the soul of the band, very unique individuals. So sad, yet I do believe Trevor got to live his dream of kicking ass in a great band knowing a lot of us appreciate their art. This hurts man, kinda fell the same when I found out Dimebag had died, I mean these guys are like legends in our eyes, as a Metal fan it hurts a lot. R.I.P. Trevor, you’ll be missed, thanks for the wonderful music.
I was 15 when my HS junior friend loaded my Ipod with probably 4g of metal, metalcore, hardcore, deathcore.. This was the second band I ever listened to on the new playlist.. I'm 28 today and just saw the news. Rest In Peace brother, it's been a long road.
I grew up listening to tbdm and still listen to them to this very day. I just found out today Trevor just passed and completely heartbroken.. Rest In Peace Trevor, tbdm will forever live on in spirit!!
we will miss you forever. this is only coming from a fan and saw you perform twice in my life. but raged you in my ears for years. can't even imagine what your family and friends are going through. i have my reasons for saying i will miss you. music is personal and very much beloved by myself. i miss you and i thank you, for everything you stood for.
Awe shit man ..I miss you Trevor you’re a legend and will never be forgotten…thanks for the long board and all the great shows and memories..one luv ! Heartburn 🤘🏽
Soooo talented 😓 I'm gonna miss this guy .. once I told you I love you Trevor ❤️ and once again I love you man this hurt for real you were one of my favorites 😔
I was Fortunate enough to have met Trevor at my very first Black Dahlia Murder show back in October of 2009. Deflorlate had just come out and they were opening for Children of Bodom in Pomona, California. After their set I headed outside in the back of the venue to get some fresh air and there he was doing the same. He was all sweaty from their set but I didn’t even care! I gave that dude such a massive hug and we just talked about music for about 5 mins Just me, him and my girlfriend at the time because everyone else was watching the Bodom set. I still have the pic of us. I put it down when I say he was the nicest musician that I ever met. I am so fucking sad that Trevor felt the need to Un-Alive himself. So much people were here for you man. 💔 May you Rest in Peace
RIP Trevor hard to believe that you're gone.If I'd have known you and you were hurting mate I would've hugged you and told you everything will be fine.If you were in pain you covered it up with your up beat energy and personality but you never know what people are going through. This is so sad to hear.
FAVORITE METAL SINGER EVER!!!!! I still to this day blast their stuff while driving in hot ass vegas weather with the windows rolled down lol make an it better lol may you forever R.I.P.
I remember first hearing trevors voice in funeral thirst almost 20 years ago now on TV at my friends house. It was my first time hearing death metal and that low growl was crazy sounding to me I loved it. My friends older brother made us turn the channel because it scared him which only made me enjoy it more haha. Anyways, til this day I still listen to tbdm and was severely saddened to hear about his passing. RIP Trevor you will truly be missed man
I Remember first seeing TBDM in 2004-5ish in mcallen TX. NOBODY knew who they were. the bassist came out and started tuning and the rest of the band and HOLY SHIT when they started playing Unhallowed into Funeral thirst it was INSANEEE that night I went to see IN FLAMES and came out with a new fav metal band they blew everyone away. man Rest in power trev
I love the guy in the red shirt. His comments are awesome and the one He mentioned and Asked if the singer is from Brooklyn (because of the screaming).
Widowmaker solo has been my ringtone for the last 3 years. Can't wait to see them next month in Houston. NEED NEW ALBUM NOW! About the only album that would get me more excited is another one from Bolt Thrower, and we know that's never happening.
I have no words, All the times we spoke years ago shit talking to each other... i can't believe what just happened to you my old American friend... My dear Trevor...
Mark Sneddon you know what's fuckin funny. I watching korn in the studio recording vocals and jons attitude and facial features wanted me to watch dahlia because I thought the same thing. I'm glad I'm not alone anymore lol
I'm so fuckin glad I'm not the only one who sees that, being a fan of korn for years in highschool I fuckin swear trevor is Johnathan davis's son, he even plays with his hair like him lol
It sucks that I’ve gotten into them after his passing. Always heard their name but somehow wasn’t ready for them. What a sweetheart, like all metal dudes, the sweetest beings.
Rest in peace, Trevor. You have inspired people around the world and helped shape the metal community into what it is today. We will never forget you.
:-(((

Arin Shadows nice opinion bro
I feel like they had to edit it because if I walked up to a random person I would never get this reaction ever.
But its NYC a mix of all sorts of people so I guess its how they found so many chill people?
It's NYC man, we don't fuck with racism or any of that shit. It's just nothing but love and cultural diversity out here.

Rest In peace Trevor. You have inspired sooo many of us. I hope you’re at peace . I’m sorry you were hurting💔
Dont be sorry that was his source of power.
I love how he seemed really excited when the kid said it sounds like an explosion
Danny Schutta I mean I think he definitely took it as a compliment 😂😂😂 fuck I would too
All he said was, “like an explosion”. I wouldn’t call that “excited”.
These people were awesome
Here after the devastating news about Trevor….Rest in Peace buddy, we will truly miss you💔 you got me into this genre

Such a massive loss. I loved watching Trevor in videos, always made me smile.
This guys charisma is just something else, rest In Power Trevor, and thank you for everything you have done for the metal community.
The most underrated band, seen these guys live and probably the best live act going around today

So awesome that you got introduced to them that way! I have that exact same shirt, by the way.
Saw this video couple years ago and it's sad to know that Trevor is not with us anymore (but with his music) RIP.
R.I.P brother you are a legend and always will be. You were the biggest influence in my teenage years. Thank you everything you gave us.
I love how goofy he is. So wild that he can bring those awesome vocals from such a nerdy guy. Love it
He was so unique, I mean BDM has always been a fun band in my book, him and Bryan being the soul of the band, very unique individuals. So sad, yet I do believe Trevor got to live his dream of kicking ass in a great band knowing a lot of us appreciate their art.
