Good morning Olivia, I absolutely love this Easter basket planter! I also enjoy watching your sweet daughter creating her little pipe cleaner flower picture. Thank you for sharing another beautiful craft. 🥰❤️🌸
I watched your video this morning and tonight went to find that basket at dollar tree. They had one- so I will be trying my hand at your DIY. I have a planter that I bought a few years back and have already painted it white. Hopefully, I can make this work. Your ideas are awesome. Loved the bunny picture and your daughter and her DIY was a great surprise. She will be having her own show soon! Thank you for all your beautiful on a budget ideas....I find so much inspiration in your channel. I have a bunny basket that I entered into the Ohio State Fair and so wanted to show you how beautiful it turned out. It won a blue ribbon last year. I don't know how to do that. I am on Facebook and could not figure out how to tag you or share on there. You mentioned how you would love to see our creations, I was just wondering how I can do that? Thank you so much my beautiful friend.
So sweet to see you and your daughter working together, brings back warm memories for me. I live in Michigan and the wind has been so bad I can't even hang my welcome sign. I am so looking forward to spring weather. Think that's why I am so enjoying your lovely videos. Thanks for sharing
Good morning sweet Wanda!~ Oh my goodness yes! We had the crazy wind Saturday and I had to chase down a bunch of my front yard decor so hopefully everything on my porch is going to be safe. Happy crafting sweet pea!~ Big hugs and sparkles, xoxo

I’ve been sewing for 40+ years and thought I might be able to give you 2 tips for future homemade pillows that might be round and/or have sharp turns like the tips of the bunny ears. First, rather than cut your fabric the same size as the pattern you traced, give yourself a seam allowance of 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch (basically draw a line 5/8 of an inch out from your original line, and cut your fabric along the second line. Then run your glue gun along the first line you traced. Once the glue is dry, trim your seam allowance (the part of the fabric to the right of your glue line) down to 1/4 of an inch along the parts that are curved and/or have sharp turns. Then take your scissors and ‘notch’ your fabric (cut it just like you cut the center of your ribbon when you are making your Olivia bow), but be sure not to cut the glue. Get as close to your “seam” as you can with your little notches. Basically, trimming the allowance and notching allows the fabric accommodate smooth curves and it also allows you to make clean turns and perfect points. I hope that makes sense. Even though I took 4 years of Home Ec in HS, my round collars were always wonky. I asked my Grandma what I was doing wrong, and she insisted I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Instead I was missing to important steps; trim your collar seams and notch your curves. I was terrified the first time I did it; I was sure I’d cut right through my seam and ruin my collar, but I not only didn’t cut through my stitching, my collars turned out perfectly. Using hot glue on light weight fabric will cause your seams to be bumpy, because the glue doesn’t come out in a consistent smooth line. What you could do is hand baste your seams. That would give your pillow a smoother appearance. Hand basting is super simple and fast. BTW, I absolutely L❤️VED the big planter basket! Now I’m trying to think of a way to use one of my big planters but not paint it. Your bunny was adorable too, and another winner from your little girl! Like mother, like daughter!
I just love your videos! The big Easter basket planter is just gorgeous! So creative! Love the sweet diys at the end with your little one. She did a great job explaining her flower project. Can't wait to see more and try my own planter. Thanks again!
Lovely brilliant ideas once again thank you so much for sharing this with us. Loved the planter and where your daughter made her flowers n a frame. Great joy to c by your sink. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I love your videos ❤💙💜. Any time you plan on turning two pieces of fabric that you glue together insideout, cut them about a 1/2 inch outside your shape. That way the extra fabric is hidden inside, and the the remaining shape will be as you originally drew it.
LOVE LOVE UR CHANNEL..IM ADDICTED..I HAD A STROKE AWHILE BACK AND IT REALLY HELPS THE NERO FOR THE BRAIN TO KEEP IT SHARP BY DOING CRAFTS , COLORING ECT. TY
☀️🌷🌸🌼☀️ Hi Sweet Olivia ! Absolutely Loved sipping my coffee and seeing your Beautiful Creations!! Your such a Ray of Sunshine!!! Your Daughters Floral Art was Soooo Precious!! I love that!! She’s got her mommas creative mind for sure! ☺️😘 Thank You For the Inspiring DIYs!!
Coffee and your voice are so relaxing. I have realized that not all voices are alike. Some, I have found are a bit grainy and irritating. Your voice is just right. I absolutely love the big basket that you made. I will have to see whether I can afford a giant pot like that. I need to listen again to see how big a diameter pot it is. I do not think this basket needs to be limited to Easter...just like you have stated. I think I would put some broken pottery (if I can find some somewhere) in the bottom of the planter to take up some of the space if I wanted to use a bit less dirt. I might be able to put angular-cut plastic containers put in upside down to leave some air pockets. Whether it will work, I do not know. I just do not want to buy more dirt than I already have. Maybe I can find broken pottery at a garage sale. I probably will not be able to afford a clay pot, so I might have to buy a plastic one and go around it with some with nautical rope before painting it all white. I hope I can get the cut laundry basket to fit in a plastic pot from Walmart. I could stencil on some vines or flowers with an alternate color of paint...probably a deep green. I do have some 12 x 12 stencils, but have not used any of them yet. I will have to see what works. I will need to find a place for the basket in my living room. I think I know what I can do. I will need to buy some kind of stand like I already have for a different planter. I hope the DT here has greenery. I will include some devil's ivy that can grow in the pot. I am forever trimming my already well-grown devil's ivy plant as it gets too long. I love your daughter's pipe cleaner art. I have LOTS of pipe cleaners so away I go. I have lots of emptied frames.
FUN!! I love these ideas for Easter/spring crafts. The bunny pillow has a sweet rustic vibe. I love the bow you made for it. The pipe cleaner flowers are adorable!! What a great project. I'll bet those brownies smelled good while baking. I can almost smell them :)
Super adorable crafts. The basket is something that is a cute idea for the front porch and the bunny pillow turned out cute as well. What a treasure the flower picture is. I still have things setting out every holiday that my kiddos made when they were young. Thanks for sharing .

U love them all! By the way, it you flip the corners and circular edges before turning g items right side out, they won't pucker and will pay nicely.☺
That bunny is waaayyy to ADORABLE!!!! And Lil Miss Romantic is so talented and sweet ❤
Hi Christine from Ontario Canada. I LOVE your craft ideas you give me such joy ! Have a wonderful evening 🌹❤
I just finished my planter Easter basket! Had to modify a little, but loved this project!
Lovely brilliant ideas once again thank you so much for sharing this with us. Loved the planter and where your daughter made her flowers n a frame. Great joy to c by your sink. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Mr. Romantic is sure a helpful man, sure is a keeper for sure.

Such a cute bunnt Olivia love the ribbon bow. The little frame is super sweet.
