Would love to see you on Martins' Strength Unknown Series! His videos with JF Caron recently were great and if he came to England you could teach him how to log properly ;)
Loving all the different types of videos your posting. I only became a fan of strongman over lockdown and even though I don't participate it's so interesting to see the techniques and just how much hard work it takes to be up there with the best in the world.
got to try this staring at the ceiling longer, and pushing the head through later.. interesting, never thought about this, going to give this a shot coming monday during my log session. cheers and thanks for the content!
Amazing Video Graham, I was wondering if you’d do a Deadlift Technique video? More for the benefit of everyone else than me, since we had our 1-1 session where you fixed my deadlift tech I’ve gone from a 230kg deadlift to 300kg, and much better at Deadlift for Reps than I used to be, not been beaten in competition yet!
Good stuff Graham, would looking at the ceiling make stabilising more difficult? Seems a little scary but will give it a go today! Great stuff and I hope you continue to upload regularly like you are
Thanks Hicksy, your detailed tech tip vids help me a hell of a lot ;-) ;-) Please keep em coming. e.g. i increased my Log- and Barbell press +20 Kg. I do now as well a ~ 70° incline Bench press, you recommended previously ;-)
Watching you regularly over the last few years has really helped move my Log Pressing forwards Graham! 15 months ago my PB was 116kg, now its 140kg and my favourite event! Can you please offer any critical insight into nutrition before log press? A few months ago I stopped having caffeine before my overhead sessions as I was feeling like I was going to black out at times. Have you musts or must nots before an overhead session please? P.S. This is Daniel not Sarah :)
Awesome video mate, been looking forward to this! I've got shoulders and log press on Monday, so i'll be putting some of these tips into practice :) thanks for the great content
Great video man! Graham I seen that you replaced your MetalGuys log with a Slater log. Didn’t you also have a MonsterStrong log at one point? Big Dog logs being another one I can think of when it comes to true logs. How would you compare these logs?
@@TheHixxy1985 missed this reply Yeah he definstely is a freak haha, just often wondered why he does that I'm guessing he doesn't like to dip quickly under the log

Wanted to try make it clear to understand
Great stuff man! I would love to see if you do heavy and dynamic work for strength for longevity and other techniques for building strength over time.
good point on the head part, im gonna try this
It may throw your balance off at 1st
Axel clean and press!! Not doing too bad at the event but your knowledge would most certainly be an advantage
Great video Graham! Really enjoying the regular uploads!

Lol was reading about a Sarah hitting a 140 log and couldn't believe it. Then saw Daniel.

How would you compare these logs?
What specific bicep and tricep excercises do you do? Also, what calf work takes place? Perhaps this can be answered in a future video. Cheers Graham 👍
None when training events regularly
Nice video with good explanations
I've noticed zydrunas kinda rows it rather than deadlifts it
Is that something thats just his own style?
Which is stronger....row or deadlift....z is just a freak lol
