I have not done any ceramics in years.. I was so overwhelmed with how to do my pieces I have had for years. Thank you so much for the inspiration to go forward.

Hi! I enjoyed the video! I’m not new to painting but, i am new to painting ceramics. I am going to be painting some nativity sets and the pieces are on the small side but very detailed. Do you think a dry brushing technique would be the best option? I’m undecided because there will be multiple colors per piece and some fine detail …like hands and feet. Thank you!

Gosh that’s a tough one. For me painting each individual color is tedious- dry brushing once you get the hang of it is fast. With such a large project I would base coat them all and then dry brush all the faces, dry brush all the cheeks, then choose a color say blue - dry brush all the areas you want blue on each piece, make sense? You can always add detail, the bottom line is do you like the dry brush look or prefer the traditional, paint each color look. Hope this helps-let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching Kristie💕
