- EARTH COMFORTS SUN. This was started about April 15-18. I set this one down due to school and exams…I’m done, now! This is the longest I’ve animated, about 2 or so minutes. Phew…I also had a lot going on during that month.
Anyways, about this animation, the red you see isn’t blood, except for the flashback in Sun’s eye. The red is all of Sun’s anger slowly bubbling from the inside, which is now being released. Earth has calming aura coming off her, represented in that yellow and sky blue color. She helps to calm him down and suppress his anger. I know this episode is kinda old, but I REALLY wanted to animate this for a while now, I’m proud of the emotions I depicted here! Earth may get a future re-design, which it kept changing midway through this, but I will still treasure this piece, nonetheless. 💜💜
This was also a bit of a vent for me, as well... I’d rather not explain why…but if you’ve seen this episode on SAMS, it’s a similar concept. No, I didn’t blow up a laboratory or anything like Sun did, I just needed to let out some…emotions in a rational and safe way, via this. FINALLY, all of those emotions I bottled up for MONTHS are being released. This makes me kinda happy, honestly 💞
And the way she just speaks life back into him is just SPOT ON! And crying IS OKAY. It’s a humane thing to do. This kinda was made to prick at your tender heartstrings, though hehe~ 😏

I hc them all to have speakers that produce a heartbeat to calm kids down. Located in their chests. Especially Sun and Moon but in this case, Earth. SAMS or canon. So Sun listens to his sister’s “heart” in order to calm down. Sometimes company of loved ones can push your fears away…

I like all the extra glitches and visual depictions of Sun’s panicky thoughts. That’s pretty much exactly what my thoughts “look” like during a panic attack - they’re just spazzing all over the place and showing flashes of every possible worst case scenario and crowding in so brightly… I think you visually portrayed all of that really well :)
