This is def a must get Omnibus! As somebody who had the singles, trades, fat trades, and now the Omni. DC and the creators put so much love and extras into this book. I’m hoping it sells well that we get more curated omnis with creators so the omnis feel like definitive editions.
I remember really enjoying all the stories in this volume. I don't think I need an Omnibus, but I recommend this material to anyone who hasn't read it.

I loved the original Villains United limited series but never read the follow ups so I'm looking forward to getting this omni and reading it straight through. Who knew Catman was so cool?
Thanks for the overview, Omar! Pity about the mixed-up order of the BoP issues and the mini, that’s a shame. Still looks like a great book, though! Just so we know, is there a text page or anything summarizing the relevant issues of Checkmate and Salvation Run? (Taking place between the BoP storyline and the Secret Six ongoing.) While not written by Gail Simone, they do cover Scandal’s reaction to the conclusion of the BoP issues, and are extremely important to understanding the grudge Deadshot bears toward Amanda Waller that’ll pop up in a hypothetical second Secret Six omni. I know the full issues (understandably) aren’t included, but hopefully DC at least put in a text summary.
If I’m not mistaken, Infinite Crisis only contains Villains United which is a mini series. The omnibus also collects the ongoing that started after the mini series. It’s 100% worth getting.
@@psi-judgesanderson6983 correct the omni collects much more than what was in infinite crisis, as i am on the opposite end i dont have infinite crisis yet i have secret six, and im still planning on getting infinite crisis.
It wouldn't be a DC omnibus without them screwing up the mapping in some way. They did the same with Death Metal (the secret origins issue) & the question vol. 2( The Question & Green arrow annuals before Question #28). They always do it.
I would love a video on P. Craig Russell's Elric comics. Wonder if they'll ever do an omni. I'm curious about those because I love that artist but don't have those books.
this is an awesome omnibus and im glad to own it, but the pages are super low quality on this for a DC omni. they really thin and feel super flimsy. its not the end of the world, but really disappointed to see DC lowering their paper quality, and maybe they've done this before this omni but every single other DC omni i have has REALLY nice quality pages. except this one.
DC had been slacking compared to Marvel? Marvel has some of the worst and most boring dust jacket designs I’ve ever seen. I always thought that Marvel should learn from DC when it comes to designing the dust jackets. Those black & white spines are super boring.

Yeah, Bane was never my favorite. Always found him one dimensional and pretty much a boring waste of comic space. But this Bane turns out to probably be my favorite character in this book. And he's never been written this way again. What a shame.
The only Gail Simone title I will ever read. And it's a great read. Read it back when it first came out and was totally infatuated with all the personalities in the book. And finally I don't have to dig out the originals to reread it. Because I will, repeatedly. It's that good. It's just too bad Gail Simone also has a big mouth when it comes to her woke opinions. That's why S.S. will be the only story I read of hers.
