I love these! There is another one more name, Bithiah. This was the Egyptian daughter who raised and named Moses. Her name is a Hebrew name after Bithiah decided to side with the Israelites and follow God. It means "daughter of God" She is so brave and wonderful. I love the nick name "Thea" pronounced either "th ee ah" or " th eye ah" . Great video. I also love your voice and dress. Im so tierd of all the bohemian fad right now and all the names. You have a timeless romanesque look. I love it. It was hard to say my favorite name without a summery list in the end. But i love all the names. Thank you so much! Dove would be a beautiful middle name or even first that would fit in with the trend of today but on the Christian side. 💕🌈
i know im randomly asking but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
Junia is so beautiful omg, and Elisheva might have become a new favorite. I met a Sifra once, Spanish for Shiphrah, and I thought it was a really cool name. And I don't understand why only 20 girls were name Dove, being such a beautiful name! I have so many favorite biblical names that it would be impossible to choose, but I absolutely adore Tzipporah (or Séfora in Spanish) and Bathsheba (Betsabé in Spanish). Don't know, they're so regal and beautiful. Besides, they used for characters in books that I like so that's a bonus. Also, Drusilla, Lilith and Jael. So many beautiful biblical names to be honest!
I love Betsabe so much more than Bathsheba, it sounds like a little song when you say it in Spanish. Tzipporah is one of my all time favourite names. I would likely only use it as a middle, but I think it's beautiful! Sifra is soooo pretty as well! I might actually like that more than Shiphrah!
I like Casiphia and Talitha! The rest, I'm not feeling as much. Havilah is pretty but I think a name like Haven is prettier. Same goes for Atara- beautiful but I think Adara is better! :). Anyway, oh my gosh you're videos are so fun and it's fun to comment!! I can't wait til the next video you do!! :):
Adara is gorgeous! There are several names where if you change one letter it makes a lot of difference. Like with Amira/Amila/Amina I think they're all beautiful but I love Amira so much more than the others haha! Thanks so much for watching!
Amelia EverythingBabyNames Yes!! Such a subtle change makes a huge difference! Amira is so gorgeous- I feel ya on that one. I'm also digging Zillah now too.
I'm loving some of these. I hadn't heard of some of them at all - Casiphia, not sure if I got the spelling right, as it's a new one to me - but so beautiful. I do love Talitha, and prefer it to Tabitha. Atara or Atarah is lovely. I adore Tara, both for the sound and meaning/history, and I don't think that Tara is super popular, but some people might say it's on the dated side. Atara is a wonderful alternative.
Casiphia was actually new to me too when I did the research for this video. I thought it was so cool and such an interesting Sophia alternative! Atara would be a really cool Tara alternative!
Zillah is wonderful, but I think I actually prefer Zilpah! Abital, Talitha, Tirzah, and Tryphena/Tryphosa are gorgeous. My favorite biblical girls names are probably Adah, Hadassah, Salome, Tamar, and Zipporah.
My favorite Biblical girl's name is my own: Lila. You can also spell it with an "h" on the end. In Hebrew, "lilah" means night, so, yes, you will hear it frequently throughout the year during Torah readings.
Shiphrah reminds me of the Irish name Síofra, which means "fairy" or "changeling". Havilah can also, I think, be used as a diminutive version of Chava (like Eve) (like in Fiddler on the Roof) :)
Atara sound a lot like Tiara which is a cool coincidence and super cute! I love the names Avielle/Aviella for a girl, which comes from the biblical male name Aviel/Abiel, meaning God is my father, and was the great grandfather of King Saul.
Talitha is the name of a news anchor in my area. She pronounces it more like Ta-lee-tha than Tabitha with an L instead of a B. eta - also my username here has nothing to do with the Bible. It's sort of my name translated into elvish (I forget if it's Sindarin or Quenya). The Atara portion is just coincidence.
I know that Hebrew and Arabic have lots of similarities. I used to be able to count to 10 in both languages. I have several Hebrew Lexicons because various translations of the bible have things translated differently and it's always interesting to look at the original meanings!

My favorite biblical girls names are probably Adah, Hadassah, Salome, Tamar, and Zipporah.
Hadassah is my favourite biblical girl's name. I absolutely adore it!
My favorite Biblical girl's name is my own: Lila. You can also spell it with an "h" on the end. In Hebrew, "lilah" means night, so, yes, you will hear it frequently throughout the year during Torah readings.
My favorites are still Rachel and Rebecca. I know these are not uncommon, but still the ones that have stuck with me. I love your videos Amelia.

Shiphrah reminds me of the Irish name Síofra, which means "fairy" or "changeling". Havilah can also, I think, be used as a diminutive version of Chava (like Eve) (like in Fiddler on the Roof) :)

Love Casiphia!!!! Don't like Cassie though and I would be afraid that would become a nickname
Hmmmmmm... Sophie, Siphie, Fea, Fefe, Cece, I think you could choose another nickname and make people call her that instead of Cass!
Talitha is a good name! It's closest to the name Talinda, which I also love!
