wow great way to celebrate 1,000 lol love that Volvo he reved a lot plus like the second Mack on recycle nice truck also like the first truck great video love the pictures great video Aaron
I'm glad your uploading again! When saw the video was yours got really exited check it out! Loves all trucks mostly the Volvo and the grill setup. And like the picture of the ToterEverll ! Great video man!
Excellent compilation as always Aaron! That guy in the Mack was haulin', even closing lids. I really like how it looks with the tag axle versus tandem, something you don't see too often outside of Arizona! Always been a fan of the striping around the cab, pretty unique. A lot of great, and experiences drivers in Thousand Oaks judging by how well they operate the trucks in the video!
+Refuse Arizona Thank you! Haha all these guys haul! You're right about the tag! G.I. Industries is full of great and experienced employees and drivers all around, you can't find much better than them!
Great Video! Now I understand why you like watching Federico so much haha! Is Antonio still working at GI? I wonder if 101467 got scrapped or got rid of? I always wonder why GI doesn’t lid flip it’s a dumb rule imo, I’m sure it’s for certain reasons. I really want o film a Mack Milder! Do you know any route info for that? I’m watching this 4 years later lol. I miss these Mack’s. I want to film one. Federico gave me info on where they are. Do they still have 101022? Also does old truck 10 from Anderson still have a rail arm? Thanks for uploading
Thanks man, Federico was so good with the Macks. Antonio left a few years ago. Almost 4 years now. 101467 was scrapped about a year ago. Was a beast sounding truck. They go with the mentality that they should leave the carts exactly how they found them to make the neighborhood neater, I think it's a good rule since their cities are all super nice. 101022 has been gone for 3 years now and Truck #10 from Anderson is now in the WM Ridgecrest yard
I typed up a longer comment before I accidentally swiped back on my mouse of lost it....so here's a more condensed version haha. Love the MR Amrep as always, especially how the stripes look on the MR's cab. It has a cool older vibe to it imo. The LNG LEU was fun too, I thought the cycle at about 3:20 was especially entertaining with how the arm kinda bounces out of the hopper. I never realized WM had that diesel single+tag Amrep. Love how that driver runs, no messing around and even grabbed those boxes on the side with the arm. Really entertaining all around. Then of course the Volvo reminds me of my time in Thousand Oaks. Beautiful area you filmed it in too - obviously a lot of green waste. The blue paint peaking through on the arm where it slides out is always cool too, sure would have been neat to see this truck in blue still. Will this truck be gone after the new year with Cali's new wave of emission regulations? I'm not familiar with the details, just that a lot of the diesels that still remain will no longer be permissible. As for the bulk truck, it really must suck having the run one of those, having to manually stack all the trash and then handle it again to unload it. Also a real shame none of the drivers around there are allowed to flip lids, sure would make things lot more entertaining than they already are. All in all another great compilation from you, awesome work as always.
+Garbage Trucks AZ Appreciate you retyping a condensed version, still had a nice length to it haha That box was originally right up against the container so right before he got to the stop, I pulled it a couple feet to the right so he could pick it up with the arm. Driver was a pro, and a real friendly guy too. I had a gut feeling at the beginning of the day that that Volvo would be running exactly where we found it. With all the hills and such, it just made perfect sense to place an older Diesel there. Steve Lee from GI Industries said he's not expecting any new full size trucks for the first two quarters of next year, so I think they still have a little longer thankfully. Agree on the bulk truck, would've been cool to see a carry can instead. Yeah, lid flipping would be nice, can't imagine how hard the drivers would rev if they didn't have to slow the arm down at the top. Thank you!
+Garbage Trucks AZ By the way, our filming trip wouldn't have been successful without the help of your California Collection Days route map...so a big thank you for that :-)
+WMmaster626 Yeah I guess it wasn't exactly short haha, all my comments tend to be lengthy which is probably I leave them so rarely haha. Love setting up shots like that with the box and just helping them out in general, it's always good to see. Glad to hear it'll be a while before the Volvo is replaced. Since you specify full-size...what are they running for minis besides the Condor? Didn't they have some mini MSLs too? Would love to see some of those....always been a big fan of mini MSLs.
+WMmaster626 Glad to hear it helped :) Matt has been a huge contributed too. I'm thinking about throwing a quick website together eventually to have all the maps accessible in one place since there's a few more specific ones.
+Garbage Trucks AZ The Midliners are still running; they have three on regular routes and one has been retired, which is where the Condor now runs. And yep they have several mini Mitsubishi MSLs, at least three I believe. I met a really cool driver at the yard on Monday, so I'm hoping to track him down sometime soon in the coming months. Looking forward to the website, those maps are some of the most helpful things to have for filming trips!
Wow nice video! Kept me entertained all the way through! Man, so nice of Kevin to take you all the way out to Simi Valley! But wow they have so many fun trucks. Enjoy how much they rev too. I remember the first truck from Scott's video years ago- nice too see it again. That diesel mack is nice looks smaller in a way. But my favorite was of course that Volvo :) sounded so nice and the looks! man glad to see that still around, ex-blue barrel truck? any idea how much longer that and the diesel mack have?Awesome video and congrats on 1,000+ subscribers!
+Kevin Barajas Thank you! Yup, ex-Blue Barrel! And the GI manager said he's not expecting any new full size trucks for the first two quarters of next year. So a decent amount of time left...I think lol
Great trucks! That MR was great to see again but it sucks that the arm got slower. And that Volvo was great as well. Looks like a nice area to film with all the scenery and hills but there seems to be a lot of distance between houses.
Nice to see you went up here. I never realized how good that LE full-size Macto looked. My favorite was the LE mini Macto, never seen it before. Has G.I. had it for a long time? Also nice to see that it's diesel too! Enjoyed every truck here, the Volvo was pretty sick too. Awesome job here!
+South Bay Refuse I believe it's been with GI for it's entire life. It's a bit newer than many of their Mactos. Color code is blue=trash, grey/black=recycling, and green=yard waste. Thank you!
+Trashman242 Thanks! No more of the MR, I was a bit disappointed the arm wasn't running as smoothly as when you filmed so we moved on. Looking back, it's actually pretty cool to see the arm shoot up, slow down, then speed up again lol Think I'mma get a full video next time I see him
Nice one Aaron! That MR as always sounds fantastic (and looks extremely unique as well, not only paired with the Amrep but also with the single and tag axels in the rear). 101467 was cool too, especially with how quiet it was at idle. Lol I filmed him on that same street where he picked up the can with the office chair. 102811 is a hella wonky looking truck. Is the chassis really just a single axel and someone slapped on a tag? Heck, I didn't even know G.I. still ran a diesel LE. Now THAT is a truck I want a route for and would probably make its own video. Like seriously whats up with that exhaust system? Does Nacho take that truck out regularly? Love how weird GI residents' recycling gets, especially with that can at 5:12. Volvo = +++++++!!!! Great footage once again and can't wait to non-purposely make a similar video like this one myself when I go out there next week :)
+SoCalGarbageTrucks Thank you! Yeah, the chassis for 102811 is literally the same thing as 101498, just diesel. That's one of two Diesel Macks that GI still owns, the other being a full size one (and it runs regularly too). Haha the exhaust is like that because of emission laws, I guess that's a different piping system. Nacho runs that regularly, so I guess you're in luck! Looking forward to your video!
Great job Aaron! I enjoyed 101498, very cool how it has two signboards and all lol. 101467 was very enjoyable as well and you got some pretty cool shots too! Wow I had no idea CDS used to run in Thousand Oaks. Any idea on what they ran there? Wow a diesel Mack is pretty cool. Don't recall seeing one before. That Volvo Amrep is very cool, glad to see WM is still running some of those trucks. Overall great video! Happy Holidays to you as well!
I love how he tried to get that lid closed at 10:17. guess it just keeps it neater. Nice filming. liked that first truck a lot.
+Mission Trail Refuse Thanks! Nice to hear from you, been a while
Man these G.I Macks are really entertaining!
+Matthew Clements Yup! I love these trucks!
Awesome Video
WMmaster626 I liked all of The Macks on here
There getting rid of all the macks
So um glad to see a video of them in Thousand Oaks
Thanks man. Did a driver tell you that they are getting rid of the Macks?
wow great way to celebrate 1,000 lol love that Volvo he reved a lot plus like the second Mack on recycle nice truck also like the first truck great video love the pictures great video Aaron
+Waste Man 226 Thanks!
No problem bro great video
Great video! Really enjoyed every truck.
+Garbage Truck Photography Thank you!

Aaron you should film the truck #10 in the Ridgecrest yard
Aaron do you know why Antonio left?

Just rewatched this video again for fun. Do you know what the driver was taking off of the lid of the can at 11:24?
Haha glad it still catches your attention. Yeah, that was actually a Christmas gift from the resident
Great trucks! That MR was great to see again but it sucks that the arm got slower. And that Volvo was great as well. Looks like a nice area to film with all the scenery and hills but there seems to be a lot of distance between houses.
+Northwest Refuse Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad Kevin can drive so it made filming a lot easier lol
I just watched the video again n I'm still entertained. Why don't they lid flip? Is it a policy or something
+WM Amrep158 Thanks bro. Idk, some drivers lid flip, but most don't. I guess some people complain if their lids are left open

+TheNVTrashMan Thank you! CDS never ran in Thousand Oaks as far as I know. They had a neighboring city that GI now services.
