Moto Guzzi is proof that Italians continue to make piece of art. Nothing more and nothing less. Quality and consumer respect is for free. Congratulations Moto Guzzi!
I’m hoping people are buying these somewhere because after 3 weeks in Italy recently I saw only 4 Guzzis. One police bike, one old V50, an even older Falcone and one newish Bobber parked up in Milan. Plenty of BMWs and scooters though. It worries me. I’m still hoping for a return of the fabled LeMans models. My MkV is still going strongly at almost 28 years of age. A Guzzista until the end.
Please, please, please Moto Guzzi... make a 'big bore' 1100 version of the V7iii and V7 iii Special!!! It would a HUGE hit in the USA. I truly think that the displacement is the only thing that makes Americans shy away from these beautiful and well build machines!
I have to agree. I really like the Guzzi brand and heritage but they just drive me mad with constantly failing to hit the right mark. I'd hoped that they'd 'turned the corner' with the V85TT and could build on this, but other than the special of that model this is all 'same-old' but with a different colour scheme.
@@dave6467 only thing new I see aside from the color schemes are the new lights which look like they may be added to the entire V7 range. My desire is that they do a more substantial V7 styled bike. More power, bigger motor, larger frame, better suspension etc. Something with at least 70 to 80hp.
But where is the new LeMans? How much more obvious do Triumph need to make it for the MG Marketing Team? The V7 is OK, but underpowered, so for those looking for more they have to look at the Triumph Thruxton or Speed Twin, etc. Why have they not at least fitted the V85TT engine into the V7 package? Surely it's minimal engineering for a big gain?
You’re all missing the point my miles. Guzzi s have never been into the Horsepower ‘race’, they don’t need to be. A Bike can look good on paper, but be a big disappointment when you ride it. Guzzis sell on their character, charm, and ‘real world’ performance. If you’ve never ridden one (and not just round the block either, you need a good few hours on one to really ‘gel‘ with it), then you can’t really comment on what they are, or what you think they should be.
V7, V85, V9, 1400 Cali, MGX-21. That’s five models. Slight variations in colour and trim don’t constitute a new model. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Guzzi fan (I’m on my third), but they need more variety. Let’s hope they bring out some more models based around the V85 Drivetrain, plus a larger capacity version as well.
Where is the V85 Sport ? Remembering the 1974 V7 750 S3 Sport ! The TROFEO is pretty close. Give it a V85 motor and a fully adjustable Öhlins upside down fork. Orange or green stripe on tank.
I really want a retro look Moto Guzzi but there isn't a dealer near me. There is a Royal Enfield dealer nearby, so my next purchase will be an Interceptor. But I'd buy the MG if there was a dealer close by.
When I became a Guzzi fan in the 80s, I found the California models were not their nicest models. I loved the Le Mans more. Not much has changed since then. Except that the California has become so ugly that I find the old Californias are looking great compared to the contemporary model.
Moto Guzzi really need that 1000-1200 cc engine. A V120TT would suit most buyers as would a V120 Le Mans. To me the V85TT is very interesting the rest as boring as a slate of plywood. A Café Racer with 52 hp? Gimme a break.
Greg Kerr... totally agree. I love seeing women riders. Just don’t like it when they’re there as set dressing when I’m trying to get a good look at the bike. : )
You can't really judge a Bike by it's specs on paper, Guzzis are so much more than the sum of their parts. Bike testers rarely ride enough miles to truly get a 'feel' for a Bike. Yes, they can find out how good the Brakes are, and how quick it gets to 60mph/100kph, etc, but that's nowhere near the whole story. To truly KNOW a Bike, you need to ride it in all conditions, on all sorts of roads, and for weeks or months, not hours. It took me a few months to really 'gel' with my Stelvio, after six, I was used to it. After a year or so, I knew I could never be without it. I've been riding since 1978, and only one other Bike has made me feel like that about it.
I absolutely love MOTO GUZZI, but really, could you guys make the back wheel/tire any skinnier on the Racer Replica?? C'mon it's not 1980. The layout, the Engineering, the heritage, all MARVELOUS, then the styling department drops the ball. They haven't had a stylish eye popping bike since the late 70z 850 LeMans. And yes I'm ITALIAN.
Shit, you know you're getting older when you're glad the girls aren't sitting on the bike cause you want to see the seat🙂.......except for the red bobber,.the Chica on the back of that,..and her mate,i said lm old,.not dead...😛😏
Perhaps, but they should be building the best bikes possible now. A brand like Moto Guzzi cannot afford to 'mess around' failing to innovate. History is littered with far too many companies like that.
Awful. I am a Guzzi fanatic but, honestly, with the exception of maybe the V85TT, the whole range was truly hideous and embarrassing. Whoever is designing the bikes there does not have a clue. The colour schemes look like they were the result of painting at a chimp's tea party. And single front discs on virtually every bike??? What a joke.

Good point Todd. The world is power mad now. No one is interested in low horsepower machines. I think they are classy though
A V85 LeMans is what I'm hoping for with cash in my pocket.
Agreed, or why not a 1400 LeMans, there is a space next to my 1100 Sport Corsa for one.
Moto Guzzi...la bell histhoire continue...la bella storia continua..grazie👍
Magnifique! Cette mécanique de moteur son vivante et jamais de panne avec un moteur pareil!!!
Moto Guzzi is king of new colors and not new updates or improvements. Sad cause I really love this brand!

Where do I get one of those fairings for my 2017 Racer??
Beautiful amazing cool excellent work Congratulations. 😮👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ll say one thing,Moto Guzzi definitely knows how to market their bikes!😘

Robert you missed the joke.It had to do with the lovely “accessories “,posing on or near the bikes in the beginning of the video.

2 of the most beautiful things in the world are Italian bikes, and their women.
Motocicli veramente ambiziosi e stupendi!!! CONGRATULAZIONI !!!🥂👑💝
Why not make a V9 variant of these V7 sport bikes?
Видел Я эту Италию на карте мира -- сапог какой то , а такие мотоциклы делают !!!!!!
Enjoyable video, great Moto Guzzi bikes and nice music by the way - not annoying :)
I´m driving a California 1400 Touring from 2013. Seems nothing has changed the last six years.

agree with racing heritage MG should really bump up the displacement.
Yeah, but those v7s are good to bring new riders into the sport.
Ghalston 56
Sure. Absolutely but where should they go if they outgrow their V7?
To BMW? To Triumph?
Why not let them continue on a V11 or a V12?
Huge thumbs up from me! =
Get those girls off the bike so I can see it properly. : )
Agree. Old fashioned male chauvinism and distracting. The girls should be walking about, checking out the bikes too.
Its 2020. Girls don't have to ride on the back any more. They can ride their own bikes now.

Retro or not, didn’t it need a TFT interface like the TT85?
You can make a custom one smh
