What is so moving to me is that she sang that from her sole, and it ended up landing her the Metallica song because Lars was there and so impressed
she went from villian to hero this night!!!
Miley gave it all she had and it sounded really really good. Never seen her rock out. However, that original with the vocals of Chris Cornell are just amazing. I agree though that I think Chris would have enjoyed that performance. He wrote it for his former roommate, Andrew Wood. Wood was the lead singer of Mother Love Bone and the OG tribute had several of the members from the band and friends on the original.
