- This Mother’s Day tarot card reading was requested by Joan who is the mother of an adult daughter named Sandi. Joan wanted to know why her daughter didn’t wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.
To answer this question, I used a three-card Past-Present-Future spread. Card number one looks at past events or influences that may have led to Sandi not wishing Joan a Happy Mother’s Day. Card number two looks at the current situation. And card number three provides insight into what the future mother-daughter relationship looks like.
This spread is appropriate whether you are doing tarot card reading for clients or tarot card readings for yourself. It is also easy to do whether you are a beginner or a professional.

I’m sorry how this sounds, but Sandi sounds like a sociopath. If not that, incredibly spoiled. Getting thrown out on her butt might teach her a thing or two about gratitude.
Joan should at least put down some healthy boundaries and get a timeline set up for Sandi to move out in a small apartment and get a job. She might also just consider Sandi’s loan repayment to her parents as a lost cause. I don’t get along 100% with my mom but I show respect. I at least send her flowers on MD and my grandma too. As a mom of a little girl I pray to Heaven we have a good & close relationship.
Unfortunately I have to agree with you. However as the parent of an adult child living with me, I know that the situation can be complicated. Regardless, her lack of respect is appalling.
