- This scenic part of Dana Point reminds me of Maui, Hawaii. The beachfront hotel, scenic walk path, big waves and turquoise ocean made me feel like I'm in Hawaii. In this walk, I started from Ritz-Carlton Hotel to Salt Creek Beach Park in Dana Point, California.
Salt Creek Beach Park is a beach park located in Dana Point, California. A popular destination for beach-goers, it features amenities such as a half-court basketball court, beach volleyball, and a seven-acre grassy Bluff Park, and offers opportunities for surfing, swimming, and fishing. It is located about 10 miles south of Laguna Beach, 70 miles north of San Diego, and 45 miles south of Los Angeles.
Monarch Beach is about a five-minute walk to Salt Creek Beach. It is a small neighborhood in Orange County, California located within the city of Dana Point. Two luxury resorts, Monarch Beach Resort and the Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel, are located within the area. Monarch Beach is close to the city-boundary between Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.

Very very beautiful
California is so peaceful compared to where I live which is Croatia, both are very similar, but here in Croatia beaches are absolutely packed, and there's music and noises everywhere.
This is just one of the FEW beaches in California that ARE quiet, and the reason it is quiet, is bc there’s more rich folk(hence The ritz Carlton near by). U can clearly see there’s more white pple then other races there in the video too. So, obviously it would be peaceful. Might sound “racist” to a lot of pple, but it’s the truth. 🤷🏻♀️
For example:
The only time in the video u see noisy music and pple, is on 31:43. A large Mexican family with 2 huge tents with tables inside, and a mini tent where there the kids are playing. Everywhere else in the video it’s quiet. 🤷🏻♀️ Hope u understand that I’m not pointing this out to show “racism or hate.” Just showing a point why it is quiet. 😊🌹
Mexicans are not quiet I’ll tell you that ... I’m part of a Mexican family and it’s always a lovely party 😛🤣🤣🤣
Italians are like that as well. Here most tourists are either Austrian, German, Slovene, Czech, Hungarian and Italian. And you can immediatelly tell who's Italian, they are so loud and in large groups, always talking at the same time

Funny, I always think of Dana Point as just the Harbor itself. I forget Salt Creek is a part of it, too. Always seems separate, to me. Always remember that steep climb back up to the parking lot, after a long day there as a kid. Decent surf break, too.
I like how you ended it near the lifeguard tower where you get views in both directions!
Been all over LA and OC, driven through the Latern District, and the Marina, but never to this beach! Simply beautiful, and perfect! What a beautiful day this was! Great upload!!

Loved it, beautiful location.
But I noticed caught 2 guys in the act of drinking alcohol, when the sign u passed said “no smoking, alcohol or contraband”. 😏
Here’s what I saw:
At 16:42 u come into the grassy area with 2 girls on the grass, and 2 guys on the benches potentially drinking. Those 2 guys saw ur camera and dead ass looking at u moving close. At 17:05 When u turned away from the beach and back towards their way, the 2 guys suddenly wanted to leave the location before u caught them drinking. U can clearly see the guy slowly drunk walking to the trash throwing his can, and then his friend throwing his shot away while some assholes ask for ur “3D camera”. 😒
Right at 17:57: the guy looks back smirking to his friend while FAKELY playing his football like nothing happened before going down the stairs. 😏
My favorite jog is Strands and Salt Creek!👍
