I'm glad you liked it Many years ago, I got obsessed with Ann Rice's vampires and devoured all the books about them. Haven't read her for many years, but just I started her Mayfair witches series.
@@nightmotherasmr I kinda had a very intense crush on Lestat for years, then I read the books again and I suddenly couldn't stand him anymore, just very whiny and annoying 😑 the last books are also a bit odd... lost the magic I guess! How are you liking the Mayfair series? "A Cry to Heaven" was also very good from Anne Rice
@@veronicasassi5544 I just started them, and so far it reminds me of what I liked about the vampire books - slow paced, lingering in a dark atmosphere I enjoyed, a suernatural mystery slowly ufolding. The vampire books really got worse and worse with each book (just like tru blood). I'm hoping the same won't happen with the witches-series.

That was really good, the entire time I'm listening to it I'm thinking about various ways to entrap the vampire. Poisoning my own blood with something that they'll be harmed by would be my first choice.

Personally, I never understood why there was never a vampire story where the “victim” just drank pitchers of Holy Water every day. In theory, since Plasma is 90-ish% water, it should kill or badly wound the vamp when they try to feed.
@lakeireland as an atheist I would never have thought to go that route, but metaphysically speaking, I think human bodies may be sinful enough to contaminate the purity of holy water. You might want to ask a priest before trying that.
