For best front tackle and some pass interceptions hold L2 plus X ... L2 is also for shielding the ball,holding longer îs for longer protection,while flicking short îs for short protection, it depends on the situation,position ,physic and form of the player at that moment ...and watch out,even if you create your tactics,it also depends on the manager you choose .I HIGLY recommend you to play offline on the rain at live broadcast camera or stadium

If you want a football game that feels more realistic then its pretty good. I even have more fun when I lose as its nowhere near as toxic as Fifa is. They gave away lots of free stuff last year including several versions of messi, a free neymar etc. just logging in daily gets you tons of free stuff. Still needs improvement but then again you cant say FIFA or EAFC24 is not without need for improvements itself.
These guys understand football. The movement is so realistic. Passing is realistic. EA is just so unrealistic but amazing UI
Just needs some improvement on ball control I feel. Overall I agree with what you have said, the game is better for those who like and understand real football, and not the arcade unrealistic FIFA game. Also love the fact that efootball at least carries over practically all of your assets from year to year. Better than Fifa were you essentially spend all year building a team for it to really be for nothing as you have to start all over again.

Efootball actually care about players, and yes you have pacs too, but you know what you can get and what's the chances, everything is transparent.

I used to love FIFA but since 22 I stopped playing the game and I got FIFA 23 with my ps5 but I never play it as much and I'm not gonna get FC 24 because I prefer efootball a lot more now

The attacking AI and actual core mechanics are far better than fifa, and have been for the last year or 2. People don't actually realise or communicate how bad they are in fifa.
Only reason people play fifa is because of ultimate team. Everything else is better in Efootball, including gameplay and commentary.

I switched to pes in 2018 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
However when it switched to efootball I couldn't stand the game and unfortunately had to go back to fifa in 2022

I literally haven’t lost a single match online since this new update I love this game it’s a lot smoother. However the passing definitely needs to be fixed as well as the player switching

@@MattHDGamer well the game looks smoother gameplay wise with the player movements and even when you played one touch on the line and whipped the cross in for the goal was very nice compared to how it was before. I also liked the celebrations lol. I thought they were different

The first patch, 0.9.0 should have never launched. A gaming disaster. The game is completely different now. Still ways to go but fun.
It always used to REALLY annoy me when FIFA fans would cry about PES "not having authentic teams/kits/players" when within a week of the game coming out it was a simple download and install to get everything you wanted, with actually more kit options than FIFA itself. I haven't played eFootball so I don't know if that sort of interactivity is still a thing though or does it actually have full licensing now?
Fifa has no rival efootball is giving us same things from last three years they made us many promises but they didn't full filled any promises yet it's been two years and yet no carrer mode (master league) They just giving us same repeated events
I officially switch to efootball this year, fifa 23 was the last EA title, I will possible go back if EA changes it to fifa again. But I am parting ways with EA. They really ruined it this with the combination with men and female on the same pitch for me.
The real question is whether they bring back master league

There is also a new mode coming, it looks like a mix between master league and dream team.
So these two are at least in the works, let’s hope we wil be able to play them soon

PES was never about online. It’s always been Master League with the option file included for clubs/badges etc. Gameplay was miles ahead of fifa, haven’t touched it since it changed to efootball though.

If efootball moves to UE5 and takes advantage of the performance and physics improvemements unless EA switches to Unreal engine its done for FIFA or FC or whatever its called these days.

The trouble is with recent footie games is too many levels. Fifa, the only way to get anywhere is by doing REDICULOUS UNREALISTIC tricks, i.e in the top two levels against AI & against online people. eFootball is the same - REDICULOUS tricks. I refuse to CHEAT using tricks. I want a realistic game, like Fifa used to be.

I don't understand why people play FIFA, this game is so so bad xD the scripting is on another lvl, out of the planet.
I played FIFA 24 for about 50h to give it a chance (my last FIFA game was FIFA 2012), and I deleted it after that, it's just so shit game.
Efootball 24 feels much better than 23 and I actually like it much more, but still waiting for UFL :)

The new eFootball 2024 is waaaay better than Fifa. I switched to it after 10 years of the latter.
We need a realistic leagues mode from top 15 countries, club career mode infinity, cups, champions league, ueropa. Automatically assist players to locate or relocate the ball on rebounds, safety headers from set pieces.
at least 3 different voices on commentary with a slight different use of language grammar basically on English commentary, injuries, stoppage time should not be less than a realistic 1 minute as on the game as 3,4,5 minutes as an added time

eFootball just needs a weekend league type of mode and it will be on par with FIFA (EAFC).
The gameplay is already clear of EA Sports offering, it’s just FIFA/EAFC have much better content unfortunately.

I've enjoyed efootballs gameplay. It's simple if you prefer life like gameplay, it's efootball, its simulator. If you prefer arcade style football, it's EasportsFC. I'll go efootball this year.
Very clunky, I've tried it just a couple minutes ago and I've deleted it lol going back to PES 2020 that I still have. Where do I start......shadows of the players are weird on the pitch, frames are dropping in the cutscenes, it takes forever to get into a simple offline match cause of the notifications, agree with this term and this motherfucker or what else, coins are pointless...they have changed completely the look of the menu. Round circles around the players is unnecessary and it just doesn't feel like an old PES that I know. There's no simple editing mode, no possibility to change difficulty, just what they offer to you. Very, very disappointed by this one. No wonder it's free.

to make it easier for FIFA players, Efootball23 or 24 is better than FIFA when it comes to Dream Team ( Ultimate Team in FIFA ) because you can develop players with time and games, no need to pay money to get good players basically everyone can land a super sick squad playing free, gameplay and smoothness Efootball is better too.
The only thing FIFA is way better than Efootball is the team license FIFA have much more leagues, also since Efootball removed Master League and Become a Legend that made Efootball only an online game meanwhile in FIFA you can chill playing career mode, well Efootball is getting ML and BAL back but no specific date.
FInaly thought, doesn't matter which game is better, if you enjoy one of them or both that's the important point, that you have fun playing something
i downloaded this game for 64gb on my pc nice graphics but the teams is so small why?? only barca in spain?

Unfortunately efootball 24 is still a demo, not even full game, you cant select different difficulty, time, weather, limited balls, limited teams, konami just gave up at this iconic game

Gone back to pes 2021 update since I played it . Back to the roots what worked
finally its starting to feel like a finished game since the switch over a few years ago, starting to feel like the old pes. only problem is its laggy on xbox one. Might need to swtich to the newer xbox.
Never tried this game before..gave it a try three days ago because FIFA 23 is dead atm..I must say I’m really impressed..graphics aren’t the best but this is the closest we can get to real football..plays very smooth and it’s very newcomer friendly for getting cards
