I to have learned so much just from watching your videos. Thank you, I will try some of what you have showed here of what I have seen in my leather craft projects.
Hello Johan, Thanks for the great video. Hand stamping is only limited to ones imagination, keep your imagination ticking. Good ideas inspire other minds, thanks for the inspiration.
I am very happy to have found this place on UA-cam, I have learned many tricks, thanks for your videos. keep up the good work, greetings from New York.
Johann i love your videos you show what can be achieved with some simple stamps that most of us already have . I would love to see a completed project with some of your stamping works and I would love to see how YOU would dye some, became a fan of your dye work.. Thanks for the knowledge qand the entertaining videos.
Like your videos but my minor case of ocd goes nuts nt seeing lines touch that should be. The heart video you did i seen it done a different way where the line is a guide and the hourglass shape is done at an angle out from the line on both sides where first row of hearts is centered on the line with each side of heart on both sides of the line
That particular one was made by Barry King. My collection consist of old and new Craftool stamps, Pro Craftooltamps, Midas tools, Sergey Neskromniy and some handmade ones a frien has made for me.
Yes, the leather is damp through and I am also working on a granite slab. I also use a heavier mallet for geometric stamping like that where a strike makes a single impression.
Tim, most of my tools are Craftools from Tandy, spanning 41 years - I bought one a few months ago. I have a few tools from James Linnell (Jim's son), Sergey Neskromniy, and some others.....
I have seen several of these neat videos, thank you. I am curious what that pattern is or what project it is. In another video you mentioned adding snaps to it.
Very nice. I had fun just watching you do it.

Thanks, Joan, beautiful ideas. What do you use leather shaped like that for? I have no idea what you use them for.
You are not a perfectionist, but that is perfect!!! :)

Thank you John.
You aren't even hitting it hard and it looks perfect 👌 Is it because your leather is still damp or the bench surface is hard?? Thank you 😊
Yes, the leather is damp through and I am also working on a granite slab. I also use a heavier mallet for geometric stamping like that where a strike makes a single impression.
What brand of stamp are you using? Thanks
The one in the video is a Barry King. Current favorites are the brass stamps sold by Tandy. Those basket weaves are nice and crisp.
I have to ask, do you do custom work? Thank you
What kind of tools do you use?
Tim, most of my tools are Craftools from Tandy, spanning 41 years - I bought one a few months ago. I have a few tools from James Linnell (Jim's son), Sergey Neskromniy, and some others.....
