meanwhile the nestle chocolate bar i just ate says its made 100% sustainability sourced cocoa 🤷♂️
Illegal mining has destroyed more hectare of cocoa farms. I was working for cocoa purchasing company and I saw the impact of illegal mining on cocoa supply chain.. Blame greedy mineral commission officials who grant license indiscriminately..
politicians , state institutions etc are involved in such activities of illegal mining. Laws don’t work in Ghana and people have taken advantage of so called democracy to create impunity especially politicians.. corruption, nepotism and greediness has brought us this far in life as a society
Last week I purchased a chocolate bar from Aldi’s, the chocolate came from South Africa. Oh my gosh was it delicious, couldn’t get enough, I ate the whole thing. Great job!!
Aldi's chocolate is damn good isn't it?. Can't get enough of the mint stuff and the 70/85% stuff...lovely!.
Our hearts go out to the farmers in Africa facing these difficult conditions. With the rise in cocoa prices CALOWRY has the solution for chocolate producers! Our patented CALOWRY fiber process decreases product cost by 30%. This unique process of creating chocolates with fiber and water displaces calories and carbohydrates. This decrease will save companies money as well as increases the health in their products and keeps the price down for consumers to enjoy their well loved products at the price they are used to.
And I bet if chocolate becomes a luxury...it will be the rich that will control the harvests and end product. The little people will go without again. A world without chocolate is one which you merely exist in.
New Zealand said there are too many Ghanaians coming to their country .
Ethiopia has exported wheat to many African countries.
Those greedy miners are causing illegal environmental destruction. How do you fight something like that?
Switzerland, Dark chocolate, 😫 bitter
Bitter is good. Purer is better for you.
