My Samsung A53 also got motherboard issue. I updated it at night while sleeping and in the morning the phone was dead . Then i visited the service centre they told me that it will ₹13000 to repair its motherboard and your data will also be erased. At first i was shocked that even the Samsung brand got this issue.😅

6:50 exactly my point. When you look at the updates it shows oxygen OS. But when you do some research you will get to know that the internal files of the OS says it's colour OS. This is the same reason for motherboard dead issue.
@harshnagar3921 not the text but the optimisation. In old OnePlus phones the motherboard was manufactured by the OnePlus itself. They had idea about what it can handle but oppo might not have that info. Phone manufacturers could even tweak the amount of power your processor draws from the battery. I'm not saying strictly that this is the only reason. I'm just speculating that this might be the reason. I had read somewhere about something called kernel mismatch. Kindly search about it it will clear your doubts.

Bro I was the first person during COVID to purchase OnePlus 8 pro and then to receive green line after update and specifically after warranty. Then after 4 months of continuous calling they ended up changing the display (reason for so long was because my phone had a 0.1mm scratch )😂 but after repair i didnt have to pay anything but i had to send it to Delhi to repair via servify but then I sold it because it started to lag and heat and the backpanel used to come out and purchased realme gt 2 pro but sadly just like OnePlus after 1 year of warranty the next month I got a green line. Thankfully realme gave me a free screen replacement without any hesitation n now it's 5 months no issue again And one suggestion and tip that was not inthis video was update. Kindly do not update your phones. Use them after purchase. If you feel any software issue then only do a update and then use again Simply do not update And I'm from GOA State

I have a OnePlus 8. I got 3 green lines on my screen. This phone had some frame damage , when I acquired for the free screen replacement, they also changed the frame too, I really liked the service as well
Brother @TechyPathshala @ 12:20 wanted to clarify that ONEPLUS 12 SERIES & 13 SERIES might NEVER have GREENLINES issue. Coz these phones equipped with display's made by BOE, not Samsung, hence the display's made by Samsung (S.AMOLED) had issues with connector, The faulty updates trigger the green line which destroyed the displays'. How can we be sure? I'm 90% sure that this is the exact reason, coz as per my research, every phones which got greenline issues is been made by Samsung. Thanks!
⚠️Still I suggest anyone not to update software in their OnePlus phones coz after updating software, the load on IC increases, hence it leads to motherboard dead issue.
I got my first green line on my S22 Plus on October 30th, and the 2nd one on November 14th. Samsung doesn't provide free replacement as well for S22 & S22 Plus. They provide free replacement for S22 Ultra only. For S22 plus new display cost is around 13k.
The contrast, the color accuracy and the quality are far superior on OLED than LCD. Once you go to oled, theres no coming back cause every other display type feels like crap.
Xiaomi never does cost cutting in displays, they provide the best displays in every segment. But they do cost cutting in camera department of budget phones. 😅

most argue that the reason behind green/pink issue are: 1. Thinner bezels which causes less physical integrity and display connector being prone to physical damages. 2. Actual physical damages 😅. 3. Higher temperature exposure. 4. Irregular voltage supply after a software update. 5. Rush software update. 6. Faulty display from OEM. Most of us prob will agree with point no.5😅

Don’t be afraid brother, it’s an excellent device, there are no cases of green lines in oneplus 12 and it only happens in 1 out of 100 phones. Even if you get them, oneplus gives free display replacement for that. Oneplus has the most fluid UI experience compared to any other phone, even apple.

OnePlus is the only company that is handling Green Line issues very well. They replaced my 9R display free of cost in July 2023 and after one year Green line came again and now they gave me a new 11R only in 4900/- Rs.
Ive told this before that this isn't just OnePlus issue but almost all brands. Its just that OnePlus had more units, so it was highlighted. But of all the brands only OnePlus has acknowledged the green/pink line problem and giving free replacement. Some twitter user also mentioned that he was charged around 400+ something which was cost of labour, I think but no other charges. But look at the other brands, barely anyone giving free replacement except Vivo I think.. But the solution for mother dead issue with OnePlus was a joke and they didn't accept it. So it wasn't expected

ye problem oppo aur thodi boht vivo mein bhi ki ye log mehenge phone mein sasta processor dete hai. I think this is bcoz these phones are not performance centric instead they focus on design and camera aur offline market mein log ye he jyada dekhte hai. But if u look their sub-brands like 1+/realme/iqoo they are totally opposite.

If you are also facing the same issue and the company refuses to replace part or asking for money in warranty if it's not your fault then one should go for consumer court because more than you they care for their reputation so maybe you get an offer for out of the court settlement...
NOTE:-Actually reason behind this is driver update is not install correctly due to dynamic update features on andriod and in ios display driver is not matching with software update...
Maine Realme C3 February 2020 me liya tha ₹8,000 me. Aaj tak mast chal raha hai. Ab aise phone aa rahe hai ki lene ka man nahi karta. Jyada MP wale camera ka drawback koi nahi batata. Jada MP hoti hai to RAW photos nahi nikal sakte
It has been one year since I got Oneplus 11R, so far so good but I have turned off auto updates. I do not play high intensive games like PUBG that raise my phones temperature especially when you use mobile data to play it and also do not use the ultra fast charging option. I pray this does not happen to anyone.

I have a OnePlus 8. I got 3 green lines on my screen. This phone had some frame damage , when I acquired for the free screen replacement, they also changed the frame too, I really liked the service as well
Brother @TechyPathshala @ 12:20 wanted to clarify that ONEPLUS 12 SERIES & 13 SERIES might NEVER have GREENLINES issue. Coz these phones equipped with display's made by BOE, not Samsung, hence the display's made by Samsung (S.AMOLED) had issues with connector, The faulty updates trigger the green line which destroyed the displays'.
How can we be sure?
I'm 90% sure that this is the exact reason, coz as per my research, every phones which got greenline issues is been made by Samsung.

⚠️Still I suggest anyone not to update software in their OnePlus phones coz after updating software, the load on IC increases, hence it leads to motherboard dead issue.

Real villain is Samsung display.
I got my first green line on my S22 Plus on October 30th, and the 2nd one on November 14th. Samsung doesn't provide free replacement as well for S22 & S22 Plus. They provide free replacement for S22 Ultra only. For S22 plus new display cost is around 13k.

1. Thinner bezels which causes less physical integrity and display connector being prone to physical damages.
2. Actual physical damages 😅.
3. Higher temperature exposure.
4. Irregular voltage supply after a software update.
5. Rush software update.
6. Faulty display from OEM.

I have like 15 amoled phones in my family... Apple samsung OnePlus and others... I keep them on latest software... Never had green line issue in any of them. I either got lucky or there's some handling and durability factor.

Don’t be afraid brother, it’s an excellent device, there are no cases of green lines in oneplus 12 and it only happens in 1 out of 100 phones. Even if you get them, oneplus gives free display replacement for that. Oneplus has the most fluid UI experience compared to any other phone, even apple.

All because of such issues and what I have heard about service centre experiences, I'm very much confused to switch to a new phone. There are no green line issues on OnePlus 12. Someone posted fake images of OnePlus 12 lines in OnePlus community app and it made viral on twitter.
OnePlus is the only company that is handling Green Line issues very well. They replaced my 9R display free of cost in July 2023 and after one year Green line came again and now they gave me a new 11R only in 4900/- Rs.
Ive told this before that this isn't just OnePlus issue but almost all brands. Its just that OnePlus had more units, so it was highlighted. But of all the brands only OnePlus has acknowledged the green/pink line problem and giving free replacement. Some twitter user also mentioned that he was charged around 400+ something which was cost of labour, I think but no other charges.
But look at the other brands, barely anyone giving free replacement except Vivo I think..
But the solution for mother dead issue with OnePlus was a joke and they didn't accept it. So it wasn't expected
I think main problem is with main series using snapdragon chip, I have Nord 2t with dimensity chip and it's working just fine
The biggest reason for the green line iz heating, you did not get any green line in any of ur one plus phones, jst becoz of ur mild usage......
This iz my personal experience, people who take care of extreme heating while using their phone, they do not face the green line issue in their phone......
From what I’ve noticed, this problem only occurs when the phone gets heat ,bumped around a lot or is pressed too hard.
BBK is not focusing on Oneplus now. It is more focused on Oppo and Vivo (& iqoo)

If you are also facing the same issue and the company refuses to replace part or asking for money in warranty if it's not your fault then one should go for consumer court because more than you they care for their reputation so maybe you get an offer for out of the court settlement...
NOTE:-Actually reason behind this is driver update is not install correctly due to dynamic update features on andriod and in ios display driver is not matching with software update...

It has been one year since I got Oneplus 11R, so far so good but I have turned off auto updates. I do not play high intensive games like PUBG that raise my phones temperature especially when you use mobile data to play it and also do not use the ultra fast charging option. I pray this does not happen to anyone.
