    Race relations issues and racism are still alive and well in the United States. They're symbolized by The Demlar Divide in St. Louis which splits the city into Black (African American) and White. The Delmar Divide results in racial inequality. People in St. Louis protest with the March of Delmar, down Delmar Boulevard to call out systemic racism and police brutality. Black Lives Matter takes a stand for Anthony Lamar Smith. The racial divide, and literal racial segregation in America will not go away if we don't address it.

    Also how over 10 years ago there were a number of black owned establishments in the Delmar Loop area including a nightclub but was subsequently pushed out or shut down to cater Wash U international student population and white residents.

      That's sad. But a nightclub should not be adjacent to a school.

    The nerve of some people. How can you flee from your own place of origin, citing the tyranny of your own culture, destroy other cultures, abduct and enslave people and then claim you are anything other than what you despise? Oh...Devil, most rebellious angel, you are just a little too clever for your own good, aren't you? How can you honestly expect...you won't lose this battle?

    Nice stats Now This. Now how about you include the racial divide in the crime stats of St. Louis or is that not the black/white comparison you want to make a video about?

    • @BobRoss-yz1gg
      @BobRoss-yz1gg 6 років тому

      Why do you think those stats are so skewed? You don't think it has anything to do with the lack of opportunity available to people living in impoverished areas? People turn to crime when their basic needs are not met. These criminal actions are a direct result of the racial divide and lack of hope that is present in many STL neighborhoods. This has to be the most ignorant and white bread comment, ever. You're just a racist, privileged ass. You are not helping the situation. The crime in STL is not going to go down unless this racial disparity is addressed. IGNORANT COMMENT. IS THIS WHOLE COMMENT SECTION INBRED DESCENDENTS OF THE KKK? Da fuq?

      @@PerkpopperDotcom-qu3hk All Americans have the opportunity and access to education. Working hard is just a choice. I grew up poor in a very bad neighborhood and worked very hard to become something. I am nothing special, but hard work pays off. Outside a disability, there is no excuse. It actually is the easy in America.

    • @PerkpopperDotcom-qu3hk
      @PerkpopperDotcom-qu3hk 11 місяців тому

      @@RodClarkson if poorer neighborhoods have lesser funded school the education they get in those schools won’t be as credible as wealthier neighborhoods. Yes if you have a job or are in school you are most likely working hard. An excuse for not building general wealth or having a good job would be unexpected medical debt or a death in the family. One thing I think might be misunderstood is under capitalism in order for companies to have leveraging power against paying workers more there needs to unemployed people that can replace workers who ask for higher wages inevitably creating a lower class.
