@@drewhallson8203 the work around is to have a huge water reservoir high up stream, whenever your regular 2 deep pumps are empty, you just fill it up with flood gates it's often very labor and material intensive but you can also keep your water wheels going during short droughts with enough water stored
When you have extra workers, make sure to leave the hamster wheels on, if you only have the plank factory on windmills, they only work when there is wind and are not very productive.
You have access to that little plateau by the dam that goes dry during drought. That would be a good place for your distribution buildings. Close to the road to the new district and not impacting existing farmland.
It could be fun to see a settlement built below the water line. I wonder if some starter maps have you start in a low-lying basin with a need to raise the water level without flooding the settlement.
I've played around with that idea on the thousand islands map. I built a ring of levees with a district center on a nearby island, then pumped the water out (water pumps + water dumps into the rest of the lake). When it dried out enough I moved the district center into the ring and built from there. It'd probably be more useful on a different map, but I wanted to do a proof of concept first.
You could use the adjustable flood gates instead of the dams until you get the new district up and blocking off the edge of the map or install levees and a couple flood gates between the river and the lake you made to limit the water loses. Another idea is to make paper and then explosives to make a canal so you don't need the irrigation and to expand your level ground for growing.
could alway do what beavers do and you know... build on the water... you'd have more free land to grow on while your industry floats above your lands life blood... :D
Imagine siding the stairs for the upper district close by the church. It would seems like you need the permission of the church to reach the heights or noble district
just a suggestion but I think you should have a section with a good few large water storages that way water won't ever be a problem again it's worked for me and it's really good for when your irrigating stuff
you don't use floodgates is adjustable level hight.. im building dam wall hight for flood a large lake on the whole map lol ton of water. When you play the Iron teeth on hard mode challenge is the way harder. You will need ton of berry and water.... lot lot of water because of droughts in each cycle 12 days no water.
I put all my power and buildings on the hill around the horse shoe. 7 water wheels and 8 windmills. 12 power wheels ( not nessary anymore lol) but power is not an issue only space for more gears :(
You only have two builders. That is why everything is going so slow. You can hire two more. And that would make a lot of sense with your unemployment right now.
Science and religion aren't mutually excusive, a lot of people seem to think so, and for most games, their mechanics put them apart for balance reasons.
You can build the waterpumps in the middle of the ocean on platforms as they are not "ground only". Saves you space for potates and wheat.
That's the iron teeth, he can't do that with the faction he's using 5:50
@@overtheatlas He can, but with the iron teeth i think the pumps can be higher than 2 units above the water level.
@@drewhallson8203 oh mb I read it wrong lol.

Or just blow up the ground so it's a flat wall

flood gates and a massive water reservoir upstream can keep your water wheels running through short or medium droughts,
Goooooooooooooooooood, let the SEO flow through you.....
I am a long time subscriber I remember the first ano 1800 series
Longlive Raptoria!!!
Hello Raptor.
You have access to that little plateau by the dam that goes dry during drought. That would be a good place for your distribution buildings. Close to the road to the new district and not impacting existing farmland.
You didn't place a path on the platform by the Builder's hut, that's why the range didn't expand
you can blow holes with dynamite under the logs of the water pumps to keep them pumping in droughts.
Get some more pumps in the deep water. You could make platform islands and connect bridges to make it work better.
Hmmm - building out over the water for some reason didn't even occur to me....

I like how you've laid out the village, impressive compaction.
Loving your Timberborn and Space Engineers Fleet videos.
Great work man keep it up!
Subbed 🙃
Man this was so satisfying. Excellent work 👏

I am really enjoying your beaver build. Hope you continue with this game, it's fun to watch.
Such a calm voice you have. I enjoyed watching you. Subscribed!

*reads title, sees thumbnail* Hehe, that's cute. *laughs in colossal mega dam that spans most of the map to create a giant reservoire.
Now I want to flood an entire map
This work of art needs more attention
cant wait for the next episode!! please do everyday video please!!
Should have tiered your dam system to maximize your space while keeping water throughout the map as well
lossing the water at the edge of the map
I believe that the water pumps will reach to the bottom
You know you can use some dynamite just for more landscaping, right? Like entire mountain dissapear opposite that dam you just build
Really enjoying the series, keep it up!
i have no words.. its beautiful
Keep up the great work!!! You got yourself a new fan! :D
Only a few hundred logs for 2 levy walls. Only take a few seasons. Nice map
To deal with the water leaving the Map I just made a temporary district and sent resources over for construction of the levees
Pumps can go down further than 2 blocks btw
only with the iron teeth faction though, right? Theirs go 6 deep though.
I believe if you turn your hamster wheels back on, your machinery would run much faster because it would have more power.

Can you build the science huts on flat roof buildings? I saw ppl do so in the demo but not in the game plays I have been watching .
Yes you can. Anything can builds on top roof

Set all of the water sources to 8 and watch the endtide err end times with alt shift x or alt shift z
More, i want that water be done

is it weird that there's science buildings next to the temple?
Beaver Scientology

hey man the water is escaping to the edge of the map u need to plug that up
tris is not eficient because you cross are not with waterpolo in a drout
The iron teeth pump can go much further down i’m not sure how far exactly
5 blocks instead of the 2 of the folktails
what's up Uthris how are yah man been playing this too for a bit are you gonna come back on Foxhole new update seem cool!
23 hours ago hail Eris!
Hey this isn't Real Civil Engineer... you tricked me!
👍🥰👍
I would honestly go for all oak forest, they have the best value and you have limited space.
flat earth confirmed
Plz make more
You waisted so much wood on building the stairs on that damn. Could you not have just built the stairs directly on the damn?
haha from seeing the total of views from this video you are nearly close to getting your money back from the purchase of the game.
Not very productive
