Thank you so much for this (I've been meaning to let you know for awhile). I'd actually never heard this song until I found your video. It's a beautiful song in general that's now in my playlist frequently, but beyond that, it's stunning how perfectly it fits Elizabeth's story. That first verse, "shattered," the way you set it to those heartbreaking scenes of her just after Jack's death - I can't think of any lyrics more fitting. Then the 2nd verse set to the scene of her new baby as "beginning" anew, and then "take step one" - how you timed that to her gathering the courage to introduce herself to the new Mountie - just beautiful and heart-wrenching and perfect. It so captures Elizabeth's journey since losing Jack. Wonderful work - thank you so much for sharing your talent!

I watched S9 when many TN stopped watching Nathan & Elizabeth's relationship had more chemistry in their "friendship" ❤ than Elizabeth had in her safe, dating/engaged relationship with Lucas! 😂 The connection with Nathan that Elizabeth had was way way deeper too! ❤ The co-creators made sure the writers put enough clues in to show it could still be Nathan in both S8 & S9. Even though JT wanted Elizabeth & Lucas married. There is a reason BB & ML Jr. didn't allow JT to marry E&L. They knew Elizabeth & Nathan belonged together romantically! ❤❤❤ The co-creators knew that Erin & Kevin as Elizabeth & Nathan have better natural chemistry in their friendship & would have better chemistry in a romantic relationship too than Elizabeth had with Lucas! My opinion of Lucas & Elizabeth's relationship 😴 and 😝 The co-creators they were right! ❤ oh Nathan & Elizabeth are so great romantically together! ❤🔥😍 😊 I think the co-creators plan was always to get Elizabeth & Nathan together romantically. Hallmark may have made them take a detour before because of politics in the U S. at the time of writing & filming for S8 & S9. The anti law enforcement attitudes from some people at that time. But I think BB & ML Jr. knew hearties would support the mounties on the show Nathan & Bill. We want our lawmen seen as good honerable honest men especially our HV lawmen whether that was Constable Jack Thornton in S1-S5, Constable Bill Avery (now retied mountie in S6) in S1-11, or Constable Nathan Grant in S6-S11. Yes, most hearties acknowledge that there are some bad, dirty cops out there. However, we want our mounties of HV to go after bad lawmen dirty mounties. The HV lawmen these mounties are always good an honerable honest men. What we wish for in our police force that all be good honest honerable men & lawmen, but unfortunately in the real world don't always get. Though I do believe most lawmen in the real world are good men trying to do the right thing! 😊 There are only a few bad lawmen that need to be removed from the police force in my opinion. Though it sucks that politics in the U.S. affected our show in my opinion it was mandated that E be with L in S8 by the former Hallmark CEO WL. But the show has gone back to its roots because the new CEO MP allowed the WCTH co-creators to do want they wanted with their own show! Thank goodness! So, now Elizabeth & Nathan are together romantically! ❤ But yeah U.S. politics affecting our entertainment sucked especially since the mounties are Canadian lawmen not U.S. policemen! All well the show is back on track now! 😊 This of course is my opinion on what the co-creators did. I honestly think this is what happened remember that line about fate that Nathan said to Elizabeth. "I think fate is taking what life gives you and making it into what you want it to be." This can apply to BB & ML Jr. the situation with their show too in my opinion! 😂 was that line put in from the writers, BB & ML Jr. as a way to say they had to work with what life gave them! 😂 Then they were eventually allowed to make it into what they wanted! ❤ which they wanted Elizabeth Nathan together romantically, in my opinion! 😂❤😊 I really think that line was in our show to tell hearties in a subtle way that they agreed with the majority of hearties that Elizabeth belonged with Nathan. ❤ I could be wrong, but that's my opinion on why things went the way they went with our show!
