Return to Loch Doon but not to plan, but not really a disaster.

It was meant to be 3 days by a stream and a bit of reconnaissance in the middle of the Galloway forest, but the area that I was going to was shut off due to a cycling event. So it was up to Loch Doon.
I wouldn’t say that the trip was a disaster but there were minor problems all the way and even after I stopped filming. That said, I enjoyed my stay immensely and have made some observations on some of the problems and my take on how to improve things.
Sorry can’t work out how to rid the area of the Mighty Scottish Midge.

@@bear0907 As yet I have had no experience of using the Mountain Cattle tent in extremely high winds, but I for one would give it try if caught out and the wind came up.
My other go to tent is a Vango Halo and that is bullet proof.
