What a small world! I ran the UCONN Health 10k. Congrats on your win! It was a beautiful day. Your video just came across my suggested videos to watch, but now I have to subscribe! I have the pro 3s that I tested out at the 10k and they got me a pb. Planning on using them for the Hartford Marathon in October.
It sure is! Thanks for checking in and thanks for subscribing! Make sure to say hi if you see me at any of the local races. I won't be running Hartford, but may come out to do a video of the race...Congrats on your 10K PB!
I’m back to leave a review on these shoes! I absolutely love them. Light weight. They have a lot of cushion. No issues with blisters, hotspots. That is a huge plus for me. I actually like them better than the Speed 4 that I have been training in the last 4 months. I have used these shoes on my long runs. You are absolutely correct these are made for Marathons and Half Marathons. I’m very thankful you did a shoe review. They are worth every penny. 👍🏻
I will definitely let you know. Your recommendations have been super helpful. The Wolaco running short are the best! I’ve purchased three pairs. I’m going to invest in a good pair of long distance running shoes for my first half Marathon! ❤️
These shoes may be my next purchase! I seen you running in the New York Half in March. I said “ooh OMV has some cool shoes on! The girls have a purple stripe on them! 😍👍🏻
thanks for your videos. I am Gerardo, 58 years old, I weigh approximately 63 kilos or 140 pounds. I am going to run a marathon on September 1 where the route has 10 km of slight uphill and the last 13 km of downhill, with the rest being flat. According to your video, the soucony pro 4 is a good option for marathons. I want to know if it is comfortable in the finger area, that is, is it wide? in that part? I recently bought the soucony speed 4 and they felt narrow in that part. Thanks for your support
@gerardoBRun Hey Gerardo! Welcome to the channel 👍 As for your question, I find the Endorphin Pro 4 to have more room in the toe box than the Pro 3 and feel it is true to size. It's very comfortable to me, but I haven't worn the Speed 4 for comparison.
I own both the Pro 3s and 4s. I agree with almost everything you said except I think the 4 is smoother than the 3. 3 is bouncier but my turnover is smoother in the 4s. On tired legs I definitely take the 4s, it made my last race so much easier to hold pace.
Thanks for the question! I haven't personally worn the Pro 2, but from what I've heard and read, it's firmer and less stable. That may mean it's better suited for shorter distances like 5 and 10Ks and possibly Halfs
Thank you for the interesting review update! Do you overpronate? I saw you were testing the Guide 17s, which I love as my daily trainers and wondering if the EP4 could be a half marathon race day option for me as I have my first race coming up in September. I overpronate, and the Guide 17 has a great (mild?) stability for me and I have taken it on three half marathon training runs so far without issues. So far have also been considering using the Guides for race day since I know I can do in them! Since you know the Guides, how does the stability compare?
You're very welcome!...The EP4 is not as stable as the Guide 17, but if your stability needs are mild to moderate, it can be a good race day option. I wear the Guide 17 for training as I also overpronate, but the EP4 is stable enough for me to race in. It also depends on your race goals as well. Are you racing for PBs or just to finish?
@@oldmanvanrunning good to hear you’re a fellow overpronator with a similar setup! When I signed up I just wanted to finish my first HM race but now might want to train a bit more and shoot for below 2h! However, don’t want to totally wreck my legs and knees!
@user-xo5ik9dk1d Both would work fine. It really comes down to what fits you better. I would say the Pro 4 is more stable whereas the vaporfly may be a bit more responsive

@PatrickStar-km1dm Thanks for the comments 👍🏻 I would agree the 4s are better on tired legs.
How is the Pro4 compared to Pro 2.I have the Pro 2's and I just love them for the race (10K and HM)

Toe box. Do you think the pro 4 has more room than the pro 3?

Would you recommend endorphin pro 4 or vaporfly 3 for a 3:45 - 4 hr marathon?
