From one as gifted as you, that's a comment I find quite meaningful and encouraging. I'm so glad you took the time to listen. This was one of those pieces that took awhile to envision, but, once I started writing, it basically took off on its own!

That's a wonderful piece for the harp. It's also one of my favourite aromatic plants: Cestrum Nocturnum, It's a typical fragrance on a late summer evening in Spain, especially in the south and is sometimes called dama de noche (lady of the night) or galán de noche (gentleman of the night). I think the oriental scales with the koto-like glissandi and phrasing are very appropriate and successful here. Well done!
