Just hope that Elena overcomes this sudden episode and recovers from her injuries and starts with a good coach and regain her calm and adorable nature ❤will continue to wish her well.
Based on just this video it does not look like a very good coaching relationship between the two. He seems a very forceful in his views and she doesn't voice her own thoughts on her play. If you look at the video you will see that she never really looks him straight in the face and I think she actually really just wanted him to stop or at least stop talking. If I was present at this practice watching this I would be a little be concerned about the way he as her coach is treating her. Remember this is in public so I would think he is a little more controlled than maybe when they are in a private session. But again it's only one video but It doesn't look great that with my psychologist hat on.
Željko Krajan was the same character as Stefano. Croatian way. Krajan was not nice to Safina. One night he received a visit from some Russian "gentleman " who did not appreciate his method. He left immediately. I wonder if Stefano had a visit from anyone.
I can translate the part where Stefano is talking to a man in the hoodie in Croatian: To summarise, he is criticising Elena's work ethic. He says she doesn't have the mental strength to work hard and how this is not the life she really likes. He says that Elena often complains to him of being tired but if she wants to be a champion she needs to consistently work hard, even when she feels tired.
He is somewhat eccentric but everyone has their own style. There’s no denying that he has helped her significantly rise up the rankings. I thought she was going to get to world number 1 at some point but I think this split plus all the withdrawals this season with various issues is going to catch up with her. I think she will now slide down the rankings.
@@alistairsmith5389 in some point ? when she is miserable lot of withdrawal i have never seen a player so miserable as her this is not acceptable to wait that long by now she must be number 1 or 2 she is ill from the endurance that she is living i prefer to see happy at least this is not a life a bagger happier than her
@@alistairsmith5389 you must know dear fellow that Elena is a star and anyone who would coaches her , she would make it to the top with and even get better but with this misery she wont... at least at least she must be happy
Elena, good job! As a teacher, I can tell your coach "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar" She's a good player who had a terrible coach. Onwards and Upwards with a new coach!

I did like their partnership! The contrasting in personalities worked for 5yrs …. But change of coach is good too
Look closely she looks very relaxed with her coach& like a mother hen she trusts that he fights for her totally devoted he is
It was still with Adidas, could be 2023 IW the year she win the title or before..

@@JC-to5bythe guy Vukov is talking to with his hoodie up is Elena’s trainer. So that makes sense what Vukov was saying to him.
Micro coaching. He’s like a mosquito 🦟 buzzing around her in between every hit/point/rally.
she is a queen and she must be treated like she should be
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
i dont know why she endured him all that time long
all coaches respect players
and he got famous riding on her name
Maybe she likes him.
Does that guy ever shut up?
He is not normal

No she won't. Coach never make players. It's other way around.
