Also.. human technology has jumped ahead by leaps and bounds, even in our lifetime. Look at computers in the 80's compared to computers and cell phones now. Even in the game.. "look at how long it took us to get this far, when the architects have gotten so much further"... but even in that example... they were around a looooot longer than us and didn't get much further, eventually going extinct lol.

It’s literally how we evolved... the reason we can feel what others are feeling and even express that in our facial expressions and body language. What’s funny is, the architects clearly weren’t perfect and humans were more effective at fighting against the disease and finding a cure because the leviathan could empathize with the first guy. We aren’t as efficient with data, but we’re superior with communication and reflection of how we feel and expressing it. As funny as it is that IGP gets annoyed with Robin, it also comes from the complete misunderstanding about how effective our emotions are.

I find it kinda funny but really cool as well that it seems those that watch 8BitRyan tend to watch IGP as well, and vice versa. They have unique personalities while also being pretty wholesome and chill individuals. Which is probably why I really enjoy watching 8BitRyan, IGP, Icycaress, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Sykunno, LordMinion77, and Gab Smolders. They are very chill, empathetic, kind UA-camrs. I do enjoy the crazy excited energy of others, however I also enjoy those with a calmer softer style as well. Both are great in there time and there place.
So Robin isn't arguing with Alan on the point that humans are inefficient, what she's arguing is how he perceives it as an inherently bad thing. She's proud to be human, and she's proud of all they have accomplished despite whatever inefficiencies may hold them back so she gets frustrated when Alan talks down to her about her species. And like it or not... She has a point. Humans may be inefficient, but at least they are still going strong in this universe. Alan's species, however, are dying out despite being the "superior" race. I don't think it's fair to get mad at Robin for being proud of her species and willing to argue on behalf of them. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion :) Good thing we're not all linked in a collective consciousness so we can have our own opinions ;)
I wish they'd worked more on the PDA Data Entries and the collectable flora. Gardening was fun in Subnautica and being able to collect and grow plant samples made exploration more rewarding. There's a spot Alan guides you to for his body and it has every plant from the first game and even a new plant the Architects grew! AND YOU CAN'T COLLECT ANY OF IT!! LIKE WTF?!
I found IGP’s Bigfoot videos years ago through watching Dregasts Besiege videos. I can now say I’ve seen every IGP video and he’s definitely one of my favorite youtubers and a huge inspiration. Thanks for all you do man

I changed my location to Japan and I played this video game for about 17 hours and the best thing is that I loved it, it met my expectations and exceeded them, I loved Subnautica and Below zero even more, I waited a long time to have it and I held out too long not to play the version of beta without seeing a spoiler about the game and I can say it was worth every damn second TuT I suffer from thalassophobia and that is why I love subnautica. I'm a masochist XD
I don't mind the quiet personally. When it's heavy cuts on the grinding, it feels rushed. But I know you already know where most things are, so maybe it's just that.
11:45 - IIRC in Subnautica, at the PCF where there were alien relics present near the Ion Cube Fabricator, there was a relic (sword/knife) that the PDA deemed was of Earthly origin. So, I think it is safe to say that the Architects were aware of humanity. The events of Subnauticaverse seem to be taking place in the distant future. It wouldn't be improbable. Just my speculation :)

I always run with multiple air tanks. It takes up a bit of storage space, but its better than running out of oxygen.
