I appreciate your videos. With respect to adding a gradient to the live filter, if I'm not mistaken, the gradient is destructive, meaning you have to re-enter the gradient for later fine tuning. I find it more convenient to create a shape mask and add a gradient to that as it seems then the gradient is preserved for future fine tuning.

You can’t apply the effect only to a selection?
