I've always considered him one of the most powerful characters in the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters Universe. Would like to see more MUGEN players do things with him.
I like this character is like having Ryo Sakasaki or Takuma Sakasaki in garou mark of the wolves. The thing i dont like is the stupid english name why they change it Marco Rodriguez is fine.
How can it be a rip off when art of fighting and fatal fury series are way before KOF? The only reason KOF exist is because they put in Ryo Sakazaki in a fatal fury game and it had good feedback from SNK fans, then they started working on a combined game, which included Fatal Fury, Art of fighting, metal slug and new characrers for KOF. There is no rip off. Its all by the same company.
It's not super underrated. In the u.s for example, it is much more popular than Kof (that's not common in global terms). Actually in the u.s it could be said to be very overrated. Because people treat it like It's the only great classic fg of Snk. I mean the only things i always see from an American (mostly) when he manages to force himself to give Snk a small compliment are: Garou, LB2 and Kof Xiii. Nothing else is great.
And that's basically because they have/had a strong feud mentality in their younger age, that didnt let them pay much attention (If any) to Snk fg's. Then Garou, under the "3s derivative" premise, throwing away the whole FF system identity, can be a game easier to grasp for a hard headed Capcom fanboy who didnt bother knowing other (older) Snk fg's.
I thought Butt was gonna be SNK's Dan Hibiki or Sean Matsuda, but I was totally wrong. Heck, this guy fights more seriously than those two put together.
@@JoNassRasierer look, Kasumi Todoh basically hates the Kyokugen Ryu Karate for Ryo once trashed her father's Dojo. Yamazaki could work, but it won't be either as interesting or as emotional.
@@Hektols yeah no, Robert practices the Dragon style of Kyokugenru as opposed to the Tiger Style that Ryo uses. Yuri's is more of a new style for actually creating new moves to make up for her lack of proficiency.
I never actually read the ending for Khushnood (Marco) before. I love that Kim Dong Hwan is causing all kinds of mayhem. He's such a trouble maker! It's just such perfect character/world building.
