Good luck!! I am on surrogacy journey #2. I just had my medical screening last week so we are pretty close together in the process! I had my psych screening about a month ago. I had to do that dang PAI test last journey and again for this journey 👎🏻 I have an appointment next week with the fertility doctor to make sure all of my blood work came back ok. I had the saline sonohysterogram and everything looked great so I’m just waiting on the blood work now to get medically cleared. Then I finally get to meet my new IPs and then do contracts! I am so excited to do this again for another very deserving family ❤ Good luck to all of us surrogates on our journeys 🙏🏻
I'm sooooooo excited for you all!! Your such a blessing! Thank you for sharing your 2ed (3rd) Journey! I look forward to watching this! If I was able to after having 3 children myself and adopting one (such a blessing) I wish I could do this for someone else. Sadly my age and medical is a no go. But living vicariously through you is a blessing in my faith and appreciation for you and your family. So long story short thanks again! Blessings and prayer for everyone!
Thank you for sharing! I’m right behind you! Have my psych evaluation scheduled next week and I’m so nervous! I too will do a mock cycle and have so many questions! Lol. Please keep sharing!!! ❤

I just researched because I was curious too and Google said that the husband of the surrogate goes through blood work to check for infectious diseases. I guess STD's that would affect her or any diseases that could get passed to her and affect the process of transferring and carrying a baby

My husband and I signed the first round of contracts yesterday and it was very emotional and scary. Did you feel the same way? I’m excited, but also scared of the possibilities of something going wrong.
I just did research, and Google said that the surrogate's husband has to get blood work to check for infectious diseases and STDs, I guess, in case those can affect Sam and her ability to carry a baby
At the beginning of the video it said June 12th, that is the day I put my application in with my agency! Monday will be my initial medical screening sonogram! 😊
Question - how does the payment work ? Do the IP pay you in one lump sum or do they make smaller payments to you directly or through the agency etc? Just genuinely curious how it all works.
Most IP’s put a certain amount in escrow, then you get paid in increments until birth when you get the rest lump sum. The escrow insured that the funds are there and there are no missed/late payments

Why does Dan have to do things for this? (Asking to learn)
Same lol😊💜
I am also curious about this.

Why does Dan need to answer questions and do labs if your the surrogate

Maybe I missed this but why did Dan have to do a blood draw? What would they be looking for in a surrogate spouses bloodwork? Just curious!

WhG does he has to get blood work done too?
That's a good question. He's not really apart of the process. Like they're not using him at all for the egg. It's all the intended parents lol

The 344 questions are weird too. Like....wait what?! 😂
Why does Dan need blood work??
Why does Dan need to give blood?
I would assume because they're
partners and going to be still having intercourse. After pregnancy starts and have been so STIs and such.
