Watching this really made me love the scene more than I already do. So much effort was put into this song. The tone and the mood. It's absolutely amazing! I'm still fangirling over Bian Jiang's Voice.

I just want to say ...... Donghua version of WangXian is just literally just so beautiful and pleasant but at the same time sad too. It's like lan zhan one-sided feeling and confessions. It just break my heart thinking about how lan zhan really might have thought that and how helpless he might have felt when Wei ying died and how Wei ying unconsciously played his song at that time...... shit, i am not crying 😭😭
I love the voice actor/actor of lan zhan be it donghua, audio drama or drama. The way they call "Wei Ying" is just so ..... just full of emotion of love and so pleasant to hear. They all really did potray Lan Zhan Feeling and emotion into calling that name.
By the way, "Wei Ying" is my favorite Lan Zhan's word.

There is confusion in the comments. This is NOT the audio drama. This is the donghua's voice actors and version of WangXian. The voice actors for the audio drama are Lu Zhixing (WWX) and Wei Chao (LWJ) Lu Zhixing also does the voice over for WWX for The Untamed while Xiao Zhan is the actor. Bian Jiang (LWJ) also dubs LWJ in the live action and donghua. :-)

There's a male version of XianYun out there. It's a cover but it's really GREAT, it really reminds me of LWJ's voice, you really should listen to it, just search for "XianYun male version" on UA-cam. Its title is XianYun Male ZJN version under the account of KiKo Tsukino

Yes XianYun has beautiful lyrics, it portray LWJ one sided feeling (romantically) towards WWX although the donghua most likely will ends WWX and LWJ relationship with "besties" or maybe "sworn brothers".

Chinese voice acting is very common actually, especially since these two are some of the most popular. There is a joke in the community that all shows/dramas are just the same 4 or so voice actors all falling in love because of how many roles they get.

I think this is partially because China produces few animes so most VAs like these to are originally VAs for drama shows. Production companies often want to put more emphasis on the actors of drama shows instead of VAs so VAs are not that popular

They make it different in every adaptations to avoid auto-plagiacy and Chinese censorship (please forgive me if there's any mistake in my explanation)
