Hey Greg. Thanks so much for posting this! I broke a tooth off the fly wheel trying to get the clutch off my G16 with the clutch removal tool. I watched your post and removed the tool, sprayed some penetrating oil up there, greased it, put a LOT of heat on the shaft and the hammer/tighten method worked awesome! Now I just need a new flywheel!!
The best way to remove the clutch is to fill the hole (the hole you put bolt in) with wheel bearing grease! Then, use a 3 or 4 inch bolt (correct thread). Screw bolt in hole, the pressure the bolt will apply on grease (hydraulic) will pop the clutch right off! None of that tapping screw, tap, screw stuff!
Hey, nice cars aren’t they ? Wondering if you might give us a quick diagnosis. My current spins over starts seems to run fairly well but every now and again it seems like it doesn’t want to start maybe a little bit of flooding maybe the drive belt is grabbing too much to allow it to start not really sure what this thing is doing

Which of your videos shows splitting the case ??

I knew of that, but didn’t have correct bolt size.
I’ve tried it on other items but not with 100% success.
@gregsdiystuff this trick works best on certain things, these clutches being one of them.
@@dawgfather2101 You can use heavy axle grease or if you're desperate, you could use mashed up white bread pressed in there. I've done both.

Hard starting is an indication of bad reed valves. Poor performanca also.
