Praying for Damond Harmon 🙏🙏
🙏❤️🤍
Another injury in the LSU vs Auburn game ( Seven Banks ) carted off the field on a stretcher from head injury. So weird ever since Tua got hurt there has been so much head injuries since.
@@fraggsFN this one has to be neck right?
@@fraggsFN 🙏
Is it just me or is number 37 his brother
That is super scary, but the deep breaths he was taking, and frantically moving his hand, leads me to believe he’s not feeling his legs. Send out a prayer that it is only temporary
That's what I was thinking. He looks extremely worried.
Edit: Reports are saying he's able to move his arms and legs.
That’s what I was thinking as well I was like fuck after they carted him away
Are you a medical professional?
Deep breathes and his hand moving = not feeling his legs.....GREAT JOB best doctor in the world
I mean, not to sound rude but you see him move his (right) foot literally as he's moving his hand. Probably scared and/or feeling claustrophobic. Prayers for the man, amazing news that he seems to be ok. So many really scary injuries in football this year... Might be time to look into neck support like they use to wear far more frequently.
News has come in that he can move he’s arms and legs 🙌🏽
Yeah, he's moving them before being carted out.
As much as we love this game its plays like these that remind us of how unforgiving football can be to those who play. Looked like a regular play until you slow it down and see the impact. Hope for a speedy recovery.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hope fir speedy recovery it's good to see moving his arms hope he can feel his feet
Damon Haron was a player at my high school in VA, really hope he’s alright and is able to make a quick recovery, those kids deserve the world man
Springers are a tight knit community.
Scary moment. Stadium was silent as we waited for news. Praying for a quick recovery and for OU's community.
Idc how bad I may dislike a team or root against them, it always makes me sick to see an injury like this. Sadly it just comes with the game. Prayers for the kid
The fact that he’s moving his arms at the end is great. That looked like it could’ve possibly left him paralyzed everywhere because of how high the impact on his back was
had a similar injury in highschool football not to this extent thank God and it was scary ASF alot of people don't truly realize how sketchy and dangerous football really is I remember the fear I had it definitely shakes you to your core hopefully thie player will be ok
Glad u good .. Was your head up or down when you made contact?
same, i hit a rb w about 50 pound on the one, he lead w his helmet and blacked me me out, & my coach put me back in after being cleared even not knowing my mothers or girls name. It definitely fucks you up
@@triopharaoh it was down but the force of the impact sent my head backwards
@@codyrileywilliams6342 glad u good man .. gotta keep that head up when u making contact for sure (easier said than done)
I’ve had the misfortune of seeing a friend receive temporary paralysis from an impact injury. And I can tell you it was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. My friend made a full recovery thankfully. I can only hope the same for Damond. ❤❤❤
Praying for his and his teammates speedy full recovery
Ironic that this comes the day after the Dallas Morning News ran an article on the late Kent Waldrep. For those of you who don't know, he was a TCU running back who was paralyzed for life in a game against Alabama in the 70's and passed away earlier this year.
Prayers up for Damond Harmon 🙏🏻
It’s crazy how something so little like that, can be that impactful and possibly ruin someone’s life
Twice in one game an Oklahoma player gets a head injury…it’s unfortunate fr and prayers to both🙏🏾🙏🏾 never wanna see that
I just feel bad for them at this point...
Same
Need to bring back the neck roll ..
Alot of players stop wearing them
Because they don't actually do anything to stop neck injuries and have actually been the cause of injuries many times. There's a documentary on them on youtube that explains why this trend ended
I've never understood clapping in this situation... clapping feels great when a player gets up on his own but when there's a game stopping injury requiring a neck stabilizer and the medical cart it feels much different. I get that we have limited options as a crowd to make noise and I understand people are being supportive. Just always struck me as a strange response maybe it's just me
The clap is for support of the injured player, that’s all.
It’s definitely just you. They’re clapping to show their support for him whether he could get up off the field on his own or not, it’s just a respect thing
It's just you.
You aren’t alone, it seems like an odd response to me as well.
It's not just you. watching the other young men crying on the football field, it seemed that applause was weird. None of them were clapping.
The injury looked bad enough, the way his teammates were looking at him and just staring out into space, makes me think it's really bad.
Hope this guy is okay, injuries like this make me wonder why guys stopped wearing the neck roll that was used years ago. It was meant to help keep a player from having their head bent to far back. I can't remember the last time I seen a player with one on.
Praying for Harman and Gabriel 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Praying for all the playings who get out there and give us such a wonderful sport to watch.
Our players with him.🙏🙏🙏
You can tell the announcers are trying to stay positive, but they know it’s probably not good. Hoping it isn’t too serious 🙏
JUST SEEING THAT ON TV WAS HARD. I THOUGHT THAT TCU WAS FINALLY GOING TO BEAT OU, BUT MAN I REALLY HOPE HE RECOVERS AND I ASK THAT EVERYONE THAT CAN PRAY, DOES PRAY 🙏 BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT TEAM YOU PLAY FOR, IT'S ABOUT HOW GOOD YOU ARE.
We love you Damond!!
Also Praying 🙏🙏 For Diamond Harmon. Hope He's Back At 100 Percent.
Damond
Just a little neck bend can compress the spinal cord and send your entire body into spasms. Luckily an bruising to the spinal cord will heal with time and he will be back to normal. Scary when it happens though.
🙏🙏😢 get well soon big Homie
Prayers up 🙏
Hoping and praying he is okay 🙏
Prayers 🙏
you feel the announcer's mod just change instantly
At the end of the day, these are still just games. This is not a video game with digitized "characters". These are flesh and blood human beings, young men with their entire lives ahead of them.
i'm not expert on football equipment, but i think if there is a currently a collar/brace that can prevent that hyper extension of the neck without hindering mobility, it should probably be mandatory. at least for some positions.
its called a neck roll and a lot of linebackers used to wear them in the 90s, you don't see them too much anymore for some reason
@@TehStormOG yeah but that was decades ago i said CURRENTLY i'm saying there needs to be new research and development into these devices so players actually want to wear them
oh my god, how many injuries are we gonna have?!?!?! first Tua now all of these CFB injuries! this is just horrible
i wonder if there's a way to attach magnets to the base of the helmet and the shoulder pads that repel eachother when the head is bent too far back. i don't know how much repelling force would be needed or if the amount of force necessary would create a magnetic field too big for the player to hold their head straight but DAMN there's a gotta be a way to prevent these neck injuries
Magnets really they already have neck braces if they want to wear them just most don't
@@jeffgoldblum2336 i know about the braces i'm just thinking out loud about a brace that utililizes a magnetic field instead of semi-rigid materials. like the magnetic suspension on a BMW
@@sergeant_salty you sir are smarter then me
Football is a beautiful but a dangerous sport. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
he put himself in a vulnerable position by playing football in general. this shit cant be prevented when things move so fast. same for tua
I certainly hope he hasn't passed away from this impact but it is hard to know with so little news coming out. I want to offer prayers in JESUS NAME.
What the hell is wrong with you? He didn't die nor is he paralyzed.
@@graythaprince It is hard to know that for sure there are conflicting reports.
@@Hollowsmith He just posted on his Instagram this morning saying that he's gonna be ok.
@@graythaprince IF his account wasn't hacked. This, we do not know.
@@Hollowsmith Yep you're just trolling.
Love to watch this sport. Whether collegiate or professional. But I hate seeing these life-altering injuries.
You never want to see that, where all of his teammates are looking after him.
Very similar to Buffalo Bills player Dane Jackson a few weeks ago
sounds like the announcers with binocs saw a lot we couldnt. ⏳
Dam, never wanna see the cart. I wish him the best.
So any injuries this game. It was nasty and hard to watch
How freaking disrespectful of ESPN for this coverage. Repeated replays and closeups of what must be the most horrifying moment of this kids life
and yet here you are watching the video
That was an unfortunate, poorly timed hit to the knee. Nobody to be blamed here.
Something gotta happen with football guys I love the sport too but somethings gotta change
First tua and now this
Looks like he hesitated and then just gave it a half effort tackle
Prayers for Damond
What a horrible injury week in football. Things will change, wether you like it or not. Football is not worth getting paralyzed.
None of these pro sports leagues are worth it! It's sports entertainment!
I want that cart though.
Maybe flag football or touch is just better..for everybody
what even happened
So sad
That’s my friends cousin 😭😭😭
That’s my brother friends girlfriends dads cousins brothers dad 😂 nigga nobody cares
Football will not be around in 20 years.
bryce young just got hurt too
I'll never understand the clapping
They happy he okay not hard to understand
P.S. THAT DEEP THAT Y'ALL HEARD, YES BU FANS THAT WAS RG3!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This sport is coming to an end
Cancel the nfl this week. I feel lots of injures are gonna happen
As long as you dont have Tuas doctor you’ll be ok
first
and the injury was absolutely scary
You a grown ass man why do you need to be first
Rest in Piece Damond Harmon. Rest in Piece.
I guess thick thighs don't save lives.
Kneed in the noggin. That's gonna throb tomorrow morning...
Rip
Prayers 🙏
But, this is skip gayless fault
Y so serious 😈🃏🥃
With all of the praying going on, this guy should be doing cartwheels right now…
This injury will give Venables the excuse he needs for the upcoming 5 loss season.
Oh shut up!!! For you to even think that the excuse of someone being possibly severely hurt just shows what kind of thinking you have in your head and that’s pretty damn sick!!
I believe in this team, go watch sooner vision, BOOMER SOONER! Brent is a legend
LOL Oklahoma sucks
What a classes comment on a video showing a player possibly being paralyzed. Go back to the fuckin gutter you piece of trash. Fuck you
Classy.🤮🤮
