4th time seeing Shikari for me, almost exactly 4 years on from the 1st time I saw them, also at Alexandra Palace (end of November 2017.)
What a show! I was stood in the middle of the crowd for the first time - I'm too short for that. So I moved a few songs in...
However, enjoy this 19-song-strong set!
Also, if you didn't already know, Chris was at home self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19. Along with Chris, Dinosaur Pile-Up have had to pull out of the first few shows of the tour after also testing positive. Trash Boat were called beyond midday on the day and asked to fill-in, and fair game to them for getting themselves sorted ready to play a sold-out Alexandra Palace in such a short period of time!
Shikari were my first "big" gig back post-covid, literally cried with joy when the confetti went off
I'm seeing them tonight in Manchester, I really can't wait.
Chris is out with Covid. SO they recorded him and put his voice clips on a keyboard :D. They forgot bout it mostly but every now and then Rory would go spam it

I must admit, this was my very first gig I've ever been to and I must say, It couldn't have been a better one! Absolutely amazing night!!

Saw them for the first time Liverpool. Best show I’ve ever seen. Support acts were insane, and Shikari blew my fucking mind.

I had only taken a few sips of my cider... when you see the camera face the floor in this video, that's me putting the cider down due to the amount of confetti in it 🤣🤷🏼♂️🎉

@@zech6877 I did not! I did film the crowd but not sure I even noticed them from where I was stood... but it was the first time I'd ever seen the song played in its entirety and not part of the quick fire round! His scream near the end of the song gave me chills, it was awesome!
