There's something so therapeutic about watching a lawn go from messy to beautiful. I also love watching these videos for the beautiful soul that is displayed with your generosity, attention to detail and your work ethic.

It's like an OCD thing watching him. Very satisfying to watch it all being cleaned up & looking great.
You will never be out of work with that attitude! I cleaned houses for a crust a few years back because I looove cleaning and always did a bit extra. Word soon got around town and i was busier than a one legged woman in an arse kicking competition. It made me happy! Great work young man!

I don't get why so many people are adamant about you getting a ride-on. I've got a 'decent' sized yard and love pushing it. You're outside, it's warm, you're walking around, and if you actually put effort in the yard you'll like it even more. He's happy and enjoying what he does, leave the guy to it.
My new neighbor told me after she had just moved in after seeing me working in my yard. "Oh, thats too much work,
I'd hire someone to do that".

Just maybe I suggested a riding mower. That was offensive, I guess. I’m just thinking ahead to those bodily joints. Will not suggest it again. By the way, I mowed & tended out 3/4 acre for years and it had a slope.

Trust me bro, we can sit through this video at any speed. Anyone on the internet who doesn't understand what these videos are for and who watches them and why, are on the internet for the first time. We who watch Lawn Cutting videos don't even mind the slo-mo shots. Just do your thing, dude. We're all pretty baked so, yeah, nah, yeah, have at it.

@@Tranderson02 My grandmother had a sticker on her Buick Riviera that said "Ass, Gas, or Grass, No One Rides Free". She put it there. On the other side there was one that said "I May Be Slow, But I'm Ahead of You". I got her that one.
@@TheWyldesidewithEricClark I still have that old plate, hanging on the back wall of my garage. Bought it way back in the 60's 🙂 The plate was green and yellow with a big green leaf on it.

@@BladeMateLawnCare Nothing wrong with using the old two strokes!! I just bought my 2nd new mower in my life and I am now retired. The old 2 strokes have kept me going for many years - though I have a 4 stroke now (easier to start ha ha!!)
I think it’s so satisfying to stand back at the end of a job and see the difference you’ve made. With many jobs you can’t see any improvement but with yours you sure can.

Plus you do it with the consistent threat of snakes and spiders, the likes of which we can not understand in the USA. I hope your clients appreciate how hard you work for them to clear up their yards after consistent rain, or an inability to address yard maintenance either because of health or financial constraints. Can’t believe I am watching someone cut grass but since I don’t currently have a lawn.... I am just loving this. I miss cutting the grass, there is nothing like working hard, smelling fresh cut grass, admiring your labor and drinking a cold beer. And I am a 65 year old woman. Can’t wait to get a new house and yard.

OMG!! Not only wet tall thick grass but on a slope as well. Would of taken me a week to cut this and then I'd have to take a holiday for a week to recover. You Da Man!!

It amazes me how the owners could let such a beautiful property get so overgrown. It looks like the neighbours property could use some work too! Good video.

The house looks to be in about the same shape as the grass was.
Im guessing they were soon to come in with machinery to dig up the property and redevelop it.
Sadly we don't know the reason why their yard gets overgrown.
Perhaps they're elderly? Fell on hard times a bit financially.. Or the persons significant other is in hospital? Shame.. If so.
Or they came back from a long holiday..no one thinks of upkeep of their yards probably.

This used to be the one thing I had to get away from certain people. However since I hurt my back and leg I am unable to partake in this weekly ritual anymore so sitting and watching other people do it makes me feel good. Sean, the yards you now, trim, blow, all of the above is not worth calling you an amateur. Just because you use a push mower doesn't make someone any less than the rest. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and watching these makes me feel that. So thanks

Sean, I can’t believe how strong you are to push. That mower through that tall thick Australian grass. My goodness I wouldn’t even make one pass without having a heart attack. This guy is not only very helpful but generous with his time and effort to people in need prepared to clean up their yard regard less of how big it is , people must try to be appreciative of what he does give something to help him out with petrol for his equipments at least whatever they can manage

So, I watched it double speed instead of skipping. That was awesome! Speed mowing, whipper snipper sounding like a prehistoric mosquito, all of those fast turns to a revved up drunken sailor shanty; satisfied my lunacy gene perfectly. Thank you Sean, you’re the best lawn dude on UA-cam.

I think people are ashamed they do not work as hard as you do. people used to say the same thing to me when I was using a push mower why don't I get a power mower, so I did in 1958, my dad bought me one. So, nobody bothered me again until 1992 neighbors wanted me to get a riding mower. So, I got a used one and I was amazed that I had an extra day and a half to go fishing. But I was always happy taking care of my yard. Now that I am 78yrs old I have no choice I need a big shiny sit on mower. As long as I am on the right side of the grass, I'll keep mowing. now and there is something you need badly and that's a good pair of gloves. I've watched you put your hands in places where there could be a funnel web spider and you have no hand protection. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to recognize when a plant is planted. And not just over grown jungle grass. My brothers home was house set for bit over a year.. two summers.... worth of grass that was sadly not mowed as the sitter had said they would... So just before my brother and his family came home the house sitter payed someone to clean up the yard. The person who did the clean up. Clear cut Everything. not just the lawn but also the edged flower bed that had evergreens, ornamental tree's, shrubs, flowers etc. Nothing that would grow normally. Yes it was over grown with grass but Lawn isn't flowers.. even if they have grass in them, and you recognize that! :) so Thank you, and I enjoy your videos, is like a treasure hunt. They are fun

Being a pensioner I had this plan to do my own cleaning of the yard, bought a mower, asked my neighbour to teach me how to run it. I did it twice but then realise how much work a backyard needs...not just mowing, so I ended getting someone to do it. Weeding the front and vegie patch is more work. I appreciate how fast you do the clearing up. You do amazing job, Sean!

Nothing more serene then a well mowed lawn.
Oops. Almost a gonner, there. This another instance where a ride-on would not work. For anyone that doesn't know; ride-ons work best on flat/level ground. On inclines, most will shut off because the sensors in the seat think you've stood up, so it cuts the engine.
That’s called a deadman’s switch mate, you just unplug that shit
I went over a bump bounced up & mower shut off. I sat for a minute looking around what happened. I realized the bump lifted the seat & shut Mower Off. That's what happens when push mower moves up to riding Mower.

Nothing like a beautiful lawn. I loved mowing. Although my hubby did it most of the time, until he realized I didn't mind it. So he edged I mowed. Now we are fulltime RV'ERS, (caravaners) we just enjoyed God's beautiful yards.🙂 Bless your kind heart. You will always be prosperous because of it! Thanks for sharing.

I always pity people who have a hilly property. That yard was so challenging with all it's hills, I don't see how a regular homeowner could keep up with it. Gotta have a professional do it!! Well done. Huge effort!!
I LOVE watching your videos (on 2x speed so I can watch more of them). I love gardening and making places look nice and tidy. Also it is such a great feeling to be able to lift people up the way you do. I’m sure you get even more out of doing this than your clients get lifted up by your kindness and professionalism. I have a cousin who lives in Brisbane, someday I will take a trip down there from Vancouver British Columbia Canada.

The owner should hire you to maintain the lawn in a monthly basis, it's hard to cut the grass that grows that high.
My husband asked you “What the devil is the brand of the mower.” He doesn’t, can’t, mow the grass but he said that was THE toughest mower he had ever seen. Years ago he had a Toro brand that was tough also. Most satisfying video I have watched! From Tennessee, USA, enjoyed!
It's always worth doing the edges. You never know who may be watching you over the fence.
Do a good job and you could get loads more by word of mouth. Do a half-arsed job, and you are unlikely to get any more.
Yep. Sometimes clients ask for just a mow, and not the edges thinking it will save money. I simply say no for the reason you stated! People driving by wouldn't know about my arrangement with the client. They would just see my signage and associate it with bad work!

My husband enjoyed mowing like you. Always used a push mower until we moved and had an acre to mow. As he got older, he decided he didn't want to take three days mowing the yard and bought a riding mower. It never mattered to him how hot it was..even at 105°F he was going to go mow! Your bullies and haters probably pay someone to mow for them! Try to block all of them! Enjoy your videos and the scenery! Keep on mowing!!😊🇨🇱
